Wolf's Pre-Bowl Season Mock

1. C.J. Mosley, OLB

The Bengals need linebacker help. I believe that Burfict is a good player, and will eventually become MLB. With that said, Lawson and Howard are getting old, and the Bengals have been beaten with pass coverage by their linebackers this year. Mosley would be a solid pick and could definitely help this team become a contender for years to come. He is arguably the best player on that team, and would make an immediate impact. Also, I think he is versatile enough to be put anywhere on the field, such as SAM and ILB.

2A: Giovani Bernard, RB

The Lawfirm has had some good games recently, but the Bengals still definitely need offensive help. Scott has been hurt and a disappointment thus far, and Leonard just hasn't cut it lately. I like him, but he hasn't really helped this team lately. Bernard has been solid and would definitely help out with this offense. He's one of my underrated prospects and I think would do very well here.

2B: Bacarri Rambo, S

Bengals finally get the safety they need. This man is a turnover machine and the Bengals have needed a ball-hawking safety for years. He was arguably the best safety coming out of college last year, and while he was suspended for 4 games this season, he has still done great. Has great instincts, and honestly is a very god player. My favorite prospect in this year's draft.

3: Brandon Jenkins, DE

Jenkins falls because of his injury, but before he was definitely a 1st round talent. This is definitely the BPA if he is here, and I think he will be. His injury drops his stock, but if healthy, he would be the steal of the draft, no matter where he goes. But I hope he goes to the Bengals, and I could see that happening.

4. Desmond Trufant, CB

Trufant isn't having the best season, but he still has immense potential. The Bengals need CB youth and depth, and Trufant helps with that. He has shown talent in a few games this season, none bigger than the Stanford game. Zimmer could get a lot out of this guy.

5: Josh Boyce, WR

I'm sure Tate will be gone next season, and the Bengals add some WR depth by adding Boyce. He is having an underrated season, and Dalton has worked with him in TCU. Adds depth and he may go up in the depth chart some day.

6A: Duke Williams, S

Again, Bengals need some safety help, and Duke hasn't received much recognition. Although, not many people besides me watch Nevada anyway. Adds depth and could turn out very well on STs.

6B: Dustin Hopkins, K

Nugent has done well, but why not get the best kicker there is? Dude has a good leg and has improved each and every year.

There's my draft. I like Kenjon Barner a lot, like many other people, but I think his stock rises quite a lot in the combine and I don't think the Bengals will reach for him.

Those first 5 picks are fantastic. Honestly, this might be the best draft I have seen yet. It addresses everything we need within the first 5 rounds in the order we should go. Mosley and Ogletree are my two favorites at the end of the first round. Bernard could go real well with BJGE and I have wanted Rambo from the get go. I think Jenkins would defintely be the steal of the draft and only add depth to an already top of the league Defensive Line. Trufant would immediately come in and be 4th on our CB depth chart.

Havent heard much on the WR so I will have to go through and research him.

Really like the first 3 picks, though I think we are playing our way out of getting Mosley. Not so in love with drafting a kicker but I could live with it.

Tate's time in Cincy is about done. Whalen hasn't done much. So why not bring in competition?

We need WR's, Tate and Binns shoud be gone after this year and Whalen hardly gets off the bench even when we had injuries at WR. We need better options and added depth.

We will be playing ourselves out of the 15-20 picks, which is where Mosley is projected to land in, barring injury or horrible Combine. Alec Ogletree is looking more realistic for a 1st round linebacker selection.

Ogletree is a very likely possibility. However, there's still a good chance that Mosley will be there. I like Mosley more than Ogletree, but Ogletree would also be a solid pick.

Your right about Josh Boyce he is one of the most underrated recievers in the country. The guy is very explosive and has a relationship with Dalton.

Not many people know who he is, and he has produced every year he played in football.

With Binns being waived and (HOPEFULLY) Tate leaving next year, I could see Boyce definitely being a guy to look at.
