A gallon of gasoline for 34 cents. When I first started driving (1968), gasoline was anywhere from 30 to 35 cents. I really miss that.

This is gonna make me sound really young, but Halo 2 being playable on XBOX Live. It was my favorite online multiplayer experience of all time, the only thing that came close was Counterstrike in the pre-source days.
I don't necassarily miss vcr's, but I miss video stores. I use Netflix and streaming, but I miss the experience of going into the store and being all excited for the new movie/video game. There's one still around me called Family Video, but its not the same. I miss everyone not having cell phones. Today everyone can get in contact with me at the push of a button...I kind of miss back in the day where I would go out somewhere and I wouldn't have to worry about being bothered for a few hours. I do see how advantageous this is, especially for emergencies, but it just feels like we're always on the go too much. I also miss Super Size at McDonald's only for the french fries....still the best fast food fries in the land.

When you could go outside at any time of the day on every day of the week and see kids playing outside- backyard football, basketball in the driveway, Jailbreak, tag, etc..

I miss old school wrestling. Like Iron Shiek, The Legion of Doom, Ultimate Warrior. I miss Michael Jordan dominating. I miss not having a job or any responsibilities. I miss being able to bang any girl I wanted to with no repercussions. I miss being excited for new music because you couldn't hear it all until you actually bought the CD on release day.
