Robot Bees to take over for regular bees. If you remember, Zombie bees were recently discovered in Washington State. Could Zombie bees mate with Robot bees?

Zombies in the News

Motorists in Maine were startled today to see a highway warning sign about Zombies Ahead. Turns out it was a hacker but who knows, next time maybe it's for real.

Zombies in the News!

AMC's series The Walking Dead captures huge chunk of viewer ratings. Scoring a 10.9 million viewers on it's premiere night even without the Dish Network viewership due to the controversial decision by Dish Newtork not to carry the smash AMC series.

Bonus...

BENGALS FORUM EXCLUSIVE! LA Times video interview with Steven Yeun of The Walking Dead.

It's all here:

Zombie Beer!

The mud, the blood, and the beer, flowed in the twin cities Sunday. At Midway Stadium, Minnepolis-Saint Paul, the largest gathering of Zombies in the Nation took place where an estimated 30,000 Zombies were present for the festivities. Dubbed the 8th Annual Twin Cities Zombie Pub Crawl, it even featured a special Zombie Beer brewed in honor of the Zombies. I'm sure a head count will be issued once the heads are located. The "Brain Belt Cranium" beer, was a limited edition replacement for "Grain Belt Premium," created by August Schell Brewing Company, specifically for a night when the living dead come out to feast on flesh and, more importantly, to drink.

It's all here:

...and here:

And now you know why Sher Khan carries a Katana! They come in handy when silently dealing with Zombies.

Breaking News!

This just in... Ticka-ticka-ticka-ticka-ticka-ticka-ticka...

Reports coming out of China indicate yet another Zombie attack has taken place. On October 8th, a half naked shovel wielding man in Foshan City, attacked a woman pushing her into a corner and chewing on her face. She broke away and he chased her down the street with a shovel.
When Police arrived, the man started biting the Police Officer's arm and then attempted to jump on a passing truck but missed and Police were able to subdue the man. The Zombie assailant was identified as a "rag picker" from Zhanjiang City in Guangdong Province.

This is the second Zombie incident in China in four months.

BONUS STORY!

Exclusive Bengals Forum video with hottie Examiner Reporter Priya Desai, of the drunken Zombie bus driver in Wenzhou, China, in June. This was the first Zombie attack in China four months ago.

I would never survive during a zombie encounter.

I have no firearms, nor no firearm training.
I have no sporting goods (i.e. bats) or landscaping tools (i.e. shovels) or tools (i.e. sledgehammer).
I'm in better shape than I was, but I'm still out of shape.
I don't have too many shirts with long sleeves.
I would try to help every human I came across.
I would be fascinated by zombies and would want to see them up close.
I've played and watched waaaaaaaay too many zombie games and movies and would try to kill every zombie I saw.

Yeah, I'm dead if a zombie outbreak occurs.

Did you hear about the guy in New Jersey who shot his wife over an argument they were having?

The two got into an argument on whether or not "The Walking Dead" could actually happen so he shot her over it, lol. He's in jail and will be brought up on charges for attempted murder and assault.

I hardly believe the maulings, or Zombie like attacks, in China were the result of Bath Salts, and in fact the perps in two cases were both drunk. So perhaps beer or alcohol isn't so safe after all. But they were not because of Bath Salts.

Look back in this thread. Two attacks which I listed and put links to are in here. Might have to go back a ways.

One was a drunken bus driver that stopped a woman in a car, and started chewing her face off, the other was a "rag handler?", drunk and stopped a woman walking down the street and started chewing her face off. In the second incident the Chinese Police showed up, and the guy starts chewing the cops arm, got away and tried to jump on a passing truck, fell off, and the rest of the Chinese cops got him.

It's time again for ZOMBIES IN THE NEWS. ((((simulated reverb echo))))

ZOMBIE 101 at UC Irvine.

UC Irvine is now offering an online course based on AMC's popular TV show "The Walking Dead."

The massive open online course is titled "Society, Science, Survival: Lessons from AMC’s 'The Walking Dead.'" It's free and it will last eight weeks. The class will be offered on Instructure’s MOOC platform and taught by four UC Irvine professors from different disciplines: Zuzana Bic, public health; Joanne Christopherson, social sciences; Michael Dennin physics; and Sarah Eichhorn, mathematics.

COUNTDOWN TO WALKING DEAD SEASON FOUR

Three days remain to the season premiere of AMC's Walking Dead.

Everyone makes fun of the Rednecks until the Zombies show up.

This season promises to be a blockbuster so get your popcorn, cracklins, and pork jowls ready.

ZOMBIE KILLER CAR

The Santa Fe Zombie Survival Machine unveiled! Hyundai, a sponsor of AMC's Walking Dead, has unveiled it's Zombie Killer Car. Take that Grand Theft Auto.

FAST SPREADING RABIES VIRUS

Remember this news report, then the insuing movie World War Z? As with many sci-fi movies, there is a seed of truth to them. Fact is, National Geographic published this story two years ago, and to day no one has actually explained the rash of Zombie like attacks which took place two years ago world wide for a short period of time. Well we're deep into rabies season in many parts of the country; something to think about on those peaceful hikes in the wilderness.

There are a number of virus contagions and while they are unable to bring the dead back to life, many do mimic zombie like behavior in it's victims, or cause the shutdown of certain vital organs and or parts of the brain. We're three years into the zombie craze now, and there are a lot of sites out there that have come and gone on the subject.

Interestingly however, to date there has been no good explanation of the rash of zombie-like flesh eating behavior of attackers worldwide a couple years ago, many posted way back in this thread. Initially blamed on synthetic drugs, both the facts of many of the stories and the reasons for the attacks never panned out. Then as suddenly as they began, they ended.
