7:32PM EST December 6. 2012 - USA TODAY Sports has learned Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs is facing a complaint from his girlfriend stemming from a domestic incident and is headed to court next week.

A person with knowledge of the situation said the matter evolved from a verbal disagreement and that the couple has reconciled. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue. Details of the incident are unclear.

Suggs' attorney, Warren Alperstein, told The Baltimore Sun that Suggs relinquished firearms he owned as part of the complaint filed by his longtime girlfriend, Candace Williams.

"The guns were surrendered over to police pursuant to the court order, and they are resolving their issues," Alperstein said of the couple. "All I can tell you is that he's in rightful and lawful possession of the guns but turned them over pursuant to the requirements of the law."

Suggs and Williams have two children. The Sun reported that he filed a custody complaint against her Nov. 19, and that two 911 calls originated from his address two days later, though no reports were taken.

Williams filed a $70 million lawsuit against Suggs in the wake of domestic incident in 2009 but eventually withdrew it.

In an e-mail to USA TODAY Sports, Ravens spokesman Kevin Byrne said: "We are aware of the situation." Suggs and his agent, Joel Segal, could not be reached for comment.

He must have faked the arm injury so he could be free for court.

The only reason this crap makes the news is because of his fame. Anybody else and it wouldn't even make the news. These reporters need to stay out of the personal lifes of these players.
