Default Reds sign Ryan Ludwick to a 2 yr deal

Glad to see him back. Last I heard, the deal was for 2 years and 6 million.

I'm glad he's back, too. He didn't do a lot, but he came through at some timely moments for the team.

Yeah, I must have been thinking of someone else. Ludick did great, played 125 games and had a lot of timely production.

Yea, we're not division champs without Ludwig. Guy was huge this year.

$6 million per year or $6 million total? if that's the total then he took a really steep bargain to stay here based on what he did last year and could have got for it

Last I heard, the offer was for 6-7 million total. So 3 to 3.5 million per. A bargain really. It was said that the Mets were offering a bit more, but he wanted to stay here. Btw, there is a mutual option for a 3rd year.

Edit: I was way off. HBT is reporting that the deal is for 2 years/15 million. So 7.5 million per. That sounds more like it. I still think we needed him back. He loves hitting at GABP.
