Watching the 5 o'clock news, they say it is going to be a rainy day, with Thunder storms, Are we allowed to take ponchos into the stadium, or do we have to buy one of theirs? don't think I have ever been there when it rains.

If it rains we deffinatly gain an edge. BJGE seems to have his fumble issues under control. Dez has had issues with his hands so rain wont help. We pound it out green make a couple big plays

IMHO I feel that since it will be raining all day sunday it should help us and hurt the cowboys. The boys play in a dome with no weather issues. We have been practicing all week in the rain to prepare for sundays game. I could see a pounding running game and playaction all day for the Bengals. As where the Cowboys are built to move the ball in the air. I understand that Murray is back, but if a RB is not used to a slippery ball, then i like our odds to knock it loose. The other factor is BJGE. He has been playing great football lately and regardless of his few fumbles early on, he is known for keeping the ball in his hands. Overall, weather will be our 13th man (the jungle of course being the 12th) and we play disciplined Defense and force turnovers and win the game.

one footnote that does concern me.... the slippery field may slow down our pass rush.

Unless its an absolute deluge, it helps neither, as far as field condition goes. Field turf is engineered to drain really, really well.

So, really we're only looking at wet ball issues. Which QB is better at throwing a heavy, slippery, wet ball? Which teams receivers catch wet balls better? Can BGE hold onto a wet ball better than Murray? I'd say likely the edge goes to BGE, as he played in his share of inclement weather in NE.

I give the edge to the home team. Cowboys are used to playing in the Jerry Dome, and have likely always practiced in perfect conditions.

I didn't think about it slowing our pass rush down, maybe the water will put skies on their lineman, Geno, Peko, Sims can just push them back.

Good points, Since we reley on a more short intermidiate passing game I hope it won't effect us much.
