I've been thinking who would line up best against Witten and i think Mays would suit best. He is quick enough to stay with him and big enough to take him down.

Oh, what the heck! Let Taylor Mays ring Dez Bryant's bell. I want to see Vontaze Burfict take down Jason Witten.

Maybe for the halftime show Witten will agree to stand on the 50 and let Mays run full speed into him. You know, just to satisfy the fans...

Leave Crocker in there. I'm more worried about Dez Bryant and Miles Austin honestly. Besides, Crocker has been getting the Lion's share of the snaps during our win streak (in which we've led the league in points allowed), so why mess with that?

![]() Mays was showing steady improvement before he was benched in favor of the old vets (Crocker and Clements), and did get more snaps when Nelson was out (during the win streak) and played pretty well with those snaps. For some reason or another Mays is in the coaches dog house and will not see playing time without some kind of injury to either Nelson or Crocker.

Crocker will not be able to cover Witten.
Mays has the skills. I say go to a one, on one matchup and tell Mays his guy is Witten. I know Witten he is a ****** bag. I would love to see Mays hammer him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3UfpG5zB9M

I'm not overly concerned with witten. I think the Bengals will do just fine against him. He has 1 TD and hasn't played against the best defenses this year.

Yeah but i wouldn't sleep on him though. He will tear crocker up, not surre if Burfict could keep up with him Mays is fast enough and big enough. Put Burfict on Murray , Leon on Dez blitz the **** out of Romo.

I agree especially given the track record Bengals have of letting people have breakout games against them. I wouldn't sleep on him but I wouldn't make any changes either. I think either way is a roll of the dice.

We could always go with a 3 safety look if we trust our top 2 corners enough.

Re: Stick Mays on Witten.
Would love to see it. He shut Owen Daniels down so should be able to cover Witten.

If only Howard hadn't gotten injured
. Really though, Mays seems best in zone coverage. My guess is that Zim will go with red zone D and stick Hall or Crocker on him when it's crunch time.

I would put Clements on Whitt and send the house after Romo.

I just want to stop him Dallas's entire team no matter who does it. That said I'd like to see Mays get better and continue to develop. A good game from him today would be awesome.

there is a good chance we see a decent amount of emanuel lamur on passing downs he's done pretty good in coverage from what i've seen.

Why don't we put a good player on him?

I'm sure you joking because everything you post is dumb. So you think crocker is best suited to cover a 6 foot 6 261 pound TE if not Crocker than who?

As said above by Shake, Austin and Bryant are more of a concern for the backend of the defense, and I would put whoever is the best player back to help with those two guys. I am thinking Mays isnt that player, because, well, he isnt good?
