Default Welcome the new HC at UC!!!!

Tommy Tuberville!!!

Huge upgrade in my opinion. Hopefully that'll keep some recruits around and bring some new ones in. I hope he takes this program to a new level!

Impressive, he should keep UC in the Big East title game as long as he's there.

He obviously has experience recruiting in the South. That's a huge plus for any college program. It's an encouraging move for a program that hasn't heard much good news in recent days.

This should definitely bring some stability to the program.

Guess he likes being the big fish in a little pond. Or strongly believes Cincy is close to jumping to the ACC/Big 12.

Hopefully this guy sticks around for a while. Otherwise UC could become a sort of coaching springboard like Miami (OH) was in the 30s-50s

Wow. Pretty amazing hire by UC. An upgrade over Butch Jones for sure. This may help UC get a spot in a new conference.

If Dalton averages over 30 passes per game in 2014, I win. If he averages less than 30, you win. Loser can't post in any Dalton threads for 1 year. You game?

I am a die hard Michigan fan, but I do root for UC when I see them on tv and this is a big deal for them and should help them big time in the Big East.

Time will tell if he will be an upgrade over Butch. Meaning see how Butch does these next few years at Tenn. Tuberville has had a pretty decent career, but these last three years, his team wasn't exactly a powerhouse relative to the teams they played. So basically, I can't say if he actually will be a huge upgrade over Butch. But I will say it was a very good hire in response to the situation.

IMO, 3 games over .500 in the Big 12 > 9 games over .500 in the Big East. Plus Tuberville has 5 SEC division titles and 1 undefeated season. That resume is off the charts for a school like UC. Plus, we don't know what Butch will do at Tennessee.

Honestly, I think he will flop. This will be the first time he won't be replacing Brian Kelly. Tennessee hasn't had a winning season in several years, so Butch has his work cut out for him this time.
