Yea, it should have come in 2010.

I understand what you mean, but I have to assume whoever they have pegged to fill in until a formal promotion has been involved in the offense all season.

I can't decide if that's good or bad for the Ravens. They are still 9-4 after all. Then again, nothing wakes people up more than other people losing their jobs.

I could see doing it if you just blew your chances at the playoffs and were eliminated, or even if you had dropped these games at the midway point. The timing just seems like a panic move right now.

Good question. Mike Brown usually doesn't fire anyone under contract, let alone in season.... That has been one of us Bengal fans' peeves with Mike Brown for a long, long time now.

Not of it instills a sense of urgency. They just dropped 2 games that they should have won and would have clinched the playoffs. Let people know theyre playing for a job.

If they had no sense of urgency against the Steelers 2 weeks ago, that's not a coaching problem. That's a player problem. Just sayin'

One thing is for sure... the front office isn't afraid of making a change to get the results they want. I'm kinda shocked to see that a division leading team would fire a positions coach while in the hunt for the playoffs. It could absolutely sink our team this year. Then again, with a different OC we're potentially going to see a new rhythm on play calling on the sidelines. Maybe we'll be able to surprise everyone in the playoffs with a healthy Ray Rice, a new OC, and a re-invested Joe Flacco.

He already thinks he is elite and that he doesn't need Rice's help...how much more invested do you really want him?

I don't see it panning out well. You will still get your playoff bith but in the end I don't think it translates into a playoff win let alone a chance at a SB.

Much better option than Cam and his vanilla play calling. The play calling and use of personnel over the last few seasons had almost everyone scratching their heads.

Especially when it was the DEFENSE that lost both those games. Especially the one in Washington.

Oh... WOW! Do you realize this is the same Jim Caldwell that led the Colts to a 2-14 season? Of course he didn't have Peyton Manning. But neither to the Ravens! Last I checked, Flacco is still the QB, right?
