That Andy isn't making very good throws, for the second straight week. I know its still the 1st qtr, but this game could be looking like a blowout right now...

Good thing the rest of the team seems to be feeling good though.

The fact that he is 12th in qb rating would seem to disprove your thoughts. Does he struggle at time sure But he is in his 2nd year.

His pocket presence is terrible and his throws have been off.

When is the last time he completed a pass over 20 not including YAC?

Both of you underestimate the impact of AJ Green on Dalton's success.

Dalton is indecisive, mistake prone, surprisingly immobile and thinks he's a gunslinger when he isn't.

There isn't anything about him that we couldn't get from just about any other QB in the league.

Dalton looked off tonight, and half of it was Cook being pushed back into the pocket on every passing play. Cook also missed two assignments and Dalton was sacked twice because of it.

No QB looks good with an O line playing like that.

Why is the O line, which has been very good, all at once looking like crap? Cook is back at Center, and it is throwing the chemistry off.

We need to start Robinson, and set Cook.

No QB will look comfortable when they're worried about getting hit every play and trying to keep the ball tucked when he feels pressure so he doesn't let go of another fumble.

Andy's passing got even worse after Chris Pressley went down. I think Chris flies under the radar from game to game and maybe fans don't realize how much he contributes in pass protection. Also, the Philadelphia defensive line played not just with speed but with an unpredictable combination of bull rushes, stunts, and spin moves. Even so, Paul Alexander has to find a way to get Andy some more time to throw it deeper.

Oh, and try a two tight end set once in awhile; I didn't see any against the Eagles. Often having just one more big body on the line of scrimmage can make a big difference. Sure, it means the offense has to go with a two vice three wide receiver set but if the quarterback is getting pressured and the pocket is collapsing early, it doesn't matter if two or three guys are open downfield.

Cook is a liability, no doubt.

But Andy's pass to AJ in the end zone in the first half that got broken up by the safety was a well thrown ball. At least by Andy's standards. Maybe AJ had to slow down a tad.

I noticed... He had Marvin Jones open in the middle and couldn't lead him farther to left & then he threw a dirtball to Leonard...I am starting to have doubts about Andy because he'll stand in the pocket like a statue and not move until someone has a hand on em, by then it's to late to roll out. What happened to the mobile Andy Dalton from TCU??? He's starting to look like Palmer in the pocket...& Andy is having trouble looking for other guys in certain situations, usually he eyes down Aj like a hawk.

Well, they did, sort of. Later in the game, they had to use Orson Charles as a FB/HB.
