They need someone. I'm not sure about Chad, though. He has trouble figuring out new offenses, and this offense is a lot different that the one he played in here.

I know the draft is a long way off and that needs are fluid over short periods of time, but this team may need to look at wrs early. If losing Sanu causes this team to completely melt down in the red zone, then they need more than just him after AJ. I mean dang, can you imagine where they'd be if 18 went down?

We did start the season with 7 WRs. Who would you have ditched?

Six different plays Marvin Jones was wide open, and not one throw his direction.

Dalton is locking on Green, or Gresham.

On one play Jones had beat everyone deep, and Dalton moved out of the pocket and ran, rather than look down field.

This was one of Dalton's worse games, he was not accurate locked onto one receiver all the time, and had happy feet.

I can blame half of that on Cook getting pushed back into him on every passing play, or the chemistry of the O line being off. However Dalton still did not look sharp tonight.

Chad learned the Dolphins' offense.

He only had problems with NE's complex scheme.

I don't think tonight had as much to do with "finding a #2" as much as our O-line giving dalton 0 time in the pocket.

We should of had more end arounds and got BJGE more on the outside to get that D-line moving left to right more.

Still, the bulk of the blame tonight is on the O-line

The bulk of tonight gets blamed on Paul Alexander and switching Cook and Robinson in and out.

The O line looked like the best O line in the NFL, then they put Cook back in. The last two weeks the O line has looked off, and tonight was terrible.

It is plain for anyone to see, Robinson is better than Cook, and Robinson has chemistry with the rest of the O line. Putting Cook in at Center has hurt the O line across the board.

The real danger is that WR's like Marvin Jones miss passes and tip them up in the air which can be intercepted.

Sanu was reliable. That's what he had that none of these guys have.

The past couple weeks have been just bad, period. For everybody. I'll have to check the play out again, but last night when Dalton rolled out to his right and threw that pass to Hawkins that was incomplete (the one that Mayock kept commenting on how Green was wide open) Jones was the one that was wide open, or at least seemed to be. He had crossed the safeties face and had got behind the defense for a touchdown, but Dalton either didn't see him or didn't feel like he could stop and launch it to him. Then, earlier in the game, it REALLY looked like Jones had his man beat deep and then just kind of pulled up on the route. I think Jones will be fine at #2 for now, but Dalton needs to try to trust him a little more.
