It sounds as if Andys first words in his cadence is "Ladies"... Anyone have a clue as to what he is saying?

Re: Andy's cadence
Yes it actually does. I thought more than once last night that is what he was saying.

I thought he said that too but it's got to be something else.

I believe he, and many QB's, say "180" first for some reason. Watching the Broncos out here it sounds like Peyton says it too. I've heard several other saying what sounds like 180. It might be a weird way of saying "Ready" - "R-ADDY" something like that.

Could very well be, He says it before every play.

I had a friend back in the day who used to swear that the song, "Why can't we be friends" was really "I can't be depressed".

Keep in mind that he's wearing a mouthpiece and whatever he says is not very likely to be understood unless you already have a clue.

I am about 99% sure he says "blue 80". In high school our cadence always started with "blue 8".

^This. He's saying "Ready".
The offense has to be set for 1 second before the ball is snapped so each QB has a particular word or words they say for the offense to get set and ready for the snap. You might hear "ready" "set" "ready set" "blue 80" "white 80", any number of things depending on the team. Or, in the shotgun on the road, the QB might just stand there until he sees that everyone is set then he lifts his leg indicating he's ready for the snap. |

I know it cant be "Ladies" and he has that mouthpiece lisp. I was hoping someone sat close enough to the field to actually hear what he is saying.

Many people I know think it sounds a lot like "Ladies or Lady!!"
Now all I can hear is this when he says whatever the hell he's saying...

Anyone that has GameRewind, go back to the Denver game. First quarter, 5:34 on the clock. The camera is zoomed in on his face right when he says it.

Re: Andy's cadence
Yep, once it is in your mind, that is what it sounds like, but I agree with what someone else said, he is saying ready.
