Where is winter?

It looks like another year we wont have hardly any snow. Is Global warming for real? Have you guys seen any snow where you live yet this year? We only have had only two snowfalls and both times it melts. It is supposed to be up in the 40's. Looks like a snowless christmas again.

yeah it is, when I was growing up we had snow as early as Thanksgiving and by Christmas we had snow that was 4 ft deep. Made a lot of money shoveling sidewalks back then. Christmas just doesn't feel like Christmas with no snow.

Winter don't start until the 21st of this month, so you have about a week.

In all seriousness, I'm cold sitting in the garage smoking, so it's here for me.

Would love to see a White Christmas this year though. My youngest son is out of school for Christmas Vacation, my middle child is home from school and my oldest is living with us along with our grandchild. It would be almost perfect to wake on Christmas Morning and see snow 12 inch's deep. It would be grand child's first snow that she can play in.

We don't get much snow out here in California, so it's hard to say, but we have had more storms than last year from what I remember. Our winters are just cloudy, foggy and wet. So everything is normal here.

Like that's gonna' matter Neb! The reason we have no snow is because the snow figured why the hell fall, it's all over on the first day of winter anyway. 5 days and counting folks.

I bought mine labor day weekend right when I bought my house. If you are moving Lowes will give you a one time 10% coupon off of your purchas and with the Labor Day sales I saved 600+ bucks. I bought a Husqvarna riding lawn mower, a washer and dryer, a pressure washer and a snow blower. The snow blower was $650 and I got it for $400.

Only reason I want some good snow and hard freeze is to kill all the bugs. Last year was bug heaven. Birds here were well fed.
