Re: Bengals sign John Connor
I think im gonna have to wait and see on this one....Teams dont cut superstars...You have to remember guys with hes size get cut blocked alot .....So i hope he can last the rest of the season with a bad leg or mcl whatever he had wrong with him......Now the good parts he has the size hes still young he seems smart ....And the best part of all with this 10 days off he should be able to pick up some of the playbook.....You gotta hand it the coaches... They go out and get guys the fit this team QUICK....Lets hope he works out because we are gonna need everybody onboard down the strech...And into the playoffs if we get in........BIGUPS TO THE BENGALS COACHES

It's not the same medical staff. Swing and a miss.

According to the article on the front page of Bengals.com, Conner is 100% healthy and in shape and ready to go. He could play special teams as early as Sunday vs the Steelers, and possibly play some offense as a lead blocker. This is a great signing by the Bengals.

On hard knocks he got hammered on by the staff. I am hoping a shot of Toridol will take care of any knee/ hammy issues that conner has |

Yeah, after reading the home page article, describing how he has been taking care of his rehab, I'm feeling mighty comfortable with this signing!

I do like hit over pressely, better hands. Blocking talent goes to pressely but not to much different there.

Re: Bengals sign John Connor
Smack talking without knowledge can make one look foolish. May want to research on the medical staff.

Losing horribly for over a decade might breed an environment where attempts to show improvement in ownership is met with suspicion and skepticism. Might want to research the Bengals in the 90s.

Presley's absence was definitely felt after he went out. Hopefully he can fill the gap

I agree. Fullback's are glorified offensive linemen. Glad to see Connor, a Cincinnati native and former Kentucky walk on back with his home team. They called him the Terminator when he was in New York, hopefully he can continue to light up linebackers.
