The Leftwich bomb was ugly,but frankly,that whole 2 minute drill was ugly. You've got...

1.Rashard Mendenhall,who's too stupid to get out of bounds with the Steelers out of timeouts.

2.Heath Miller,who can't make a grab in traffic.

3.Jericho Cotchery,who's too soft to make a catch while getting hit in the clutch.

4.Maurkice Pouncey...All-World center who can't get a shotgun snap back to the QB.

If Heath caught that the game would have ended because we proably wouldn't have got a spike off with 22 seconds left.How much time did we waste the play before after the mendenhall run? Cotchery got hurt and it was a great hit. The biggest 2 minuite drill problem was that we only had 1 timeout.

Had to work today so i didn't get to see much of the game up to the last 6 minutes or so. Now i'm stuck having to watch GB and SF.

Anyway..... from some of what i heard on the radio and saw online early, Flacco hit some pretty big time throws. So as much as i've given him crap in this thread, he deserves the wtg's when he plays well.

Congrats, Joe. Big time throws during a big time game.

I saw the game. Flacco's throws were impressive. I think he outplayed Peyton and that's saying a lot since I was such a big Peyton fan when he was a Colt. I particularly liked his long bomb to Jacoby Jones with 39 seconds left and the announcers pretty much giving the game to the Broncos and starting to give accolades to Ray Lewis's last game in the NFL. All of that, of course, before the pass was caught. Then it was the announcers having to swallow all of what they just said.

It was hilarious.

I had to root for the Ravens after that play. It would have been a shame to make such a good play and not win the game. Ravens deserved to win that game - hands down!

Um, no?

Denver's defense allowed those two long TD's. One in particular was a horrible throw that floated and floated and the defender completely blew the coverage.

Oh, well...another week of Ray Ray dancing I guess.
