This game does show something.
We DESPERATELY need a second reliable WR - Romo has 2 and it is showing here big time. |

Should've beaten Miami too really. Should be here with a playoff spot clinched already and practically the division too, but instead we're probably outsiders at finishing in the wildcards. I'd bet most neutrals would pick the Steelers to beat us next week, and if they do we're in a real hole. Should already be in.

Yes. Time to stop looking backwards. Right now we need to beat Pittsburgh next week and forget about everything else.

Very true, could've been a lot more, and still can be. Didn't start the season to just win the division, we can get in and I honestly feel if we play hot we've got it in us to pull a win out

every team has what ifs, it only takes a game or two for the browns to be in the playoff hunt (LOL).

If we beat both the steelers and ravens we will be hot enough to beat anyone in the first round.

This game actually reminds me of something I keep hoping every year will happen - they get rid of the stupid 5 yard contact rule they basically put in to help Peyton Manning beat the Patriots. That rule is largely responsible for the current state where it is virtually impossible to stop TEs in the passing game, and it completely distorts the game.

I like Miles Austin. I don't really like dez bryant still, I wish we had Austin.

I'd be ecstatic just to have ANY receiver other than AJ who we could trust to run the route correctly and catch the ball.

miles austin is always in the right spot. dez bryant has too much jerome simpson in him (too much emotion after a routine catch and run). no business.

It's not just Heath Miller. Go around the league - Pats using the two TEs as a prime passing attack largely because the rules make it impossible for defenses to really interfere with that pattern. We moan about having problems containing TEs but really we are no worse than anyone else at it - it is a league wide thing and caused by the 5 yard contact rule.

So did roethlisberger have 20 seconds to throw the ball there? I know cowboys only rushed 3. I wonder what Andy could do with 20 seconds, he needs to pump fake more.

Oh well, it was nice to hope the Cowboys would help us...
We have to win both remaining games to get in, that is clear now. |

Yes we will. Steelers D has some clear gaps. If the Cowboys had ANY sort of pass rush they would be winning right now.
