Default How do you want it to fall?
Im kinda torn on the Cowboy Steeler game. We obviously want Cincinnati to win next week, so, shouldnt we really root for the Steelers to win? If the Steelers beat the Cowboys, and with the Ravens losing, and we beat Pittsburgh, then beat the Ravens, we win the division! I have NEVER rooted for the Steelers, or at least cant remember the last time i did, but since we HAVE to beat Pittsburgh next week, shouldn't we root for them against the Cowboys?!

The steelers winning has nothing to do with the Bengals chances of winning the AFCN. The steelers lose this week and next and the jets lose one of the next two games the bengals clinch a wild card spot. If the ravens lose to the giants and then the bengals, the bengals win the afcn.

I want Pitt to win so that the Ravens have no shot at making the playoffs. And I want next week to be a good old fashioned AFC Central throwdown in Pitt. Then Giants beat the Ravens next week, then we beat the Ravens in wk. 17. That's my dream scenario. Go Bengals!!!!!

The ravens have 9 wins. If they lose out they finish 9-7. If the bengals win out they finish 10-6 and thus win the afcn, regardless of what the steelers do.

The division isn't decided this week if Pitt loses today. If they lose one of the last 3 games, Cincy wins out and Ravens lose the remainder, then Cincy wins the division. Hope for a Pitt loss today and hope the remaining pieces fall into place.

Ravens don't win the North if Pitt loses. Right now, the Bengals are only a game behind with 2 left to play. One of them head to head.

If the Steelers lose today, they have to lose against us or Cleveland with us winning one of the last two and we're in.

That little machine makes it easy, but basically we need to beat the Steelers and Ravens to guarantee that we're in.

This makes no sense. No need to root for the Steelers for any reason.

The guys on Fox said earlier that if Pitt loses today, the Ravens clinch a playoff spot but they did not say they would clinch the AFCN.

of course they can't clinch the AFC-N, geeze.

The ravens are only one up on the Bengals and have 2 games to go. And they face us in the last game. basic ****ing math.

We beat pittsburgh next week and I guarantee we take the division by beating the Ravens. We will take a 3 game winning streak (with 2 potential playoff teams in our own division) is enough confidence to win our first playoff game in - how long?

If you want it perfect; Steelers win today. We beat them next week, Giants beat Ravens. Ravens at 9-6, Bengals at 9-6, Steelers at 8-7. A win for us against Baltimore not just secures a playoff spot, but the division too.

But to be honest, id rather the Steelers lost here, and we beat them next week. Rather not have week 17 still wondering whether we'll get in or not.

some of these responses are quite puzzling

why do you want Steelers to win so that it makes it harder on us?

Steelers win today and we HAVE to beat both Pitt and Balt

They lose (and as long as Jets lose 1 game) we can afford a loss to Balt
