Belk Bowl - Bearcats vs Blue Devils

Any of you guys heading down to Charlotte for the Belk Bowl on December 27th? I'm a fan of all UC sports and happen to live in Charlotte, so it works out. Just would be cool to tailgate with some fellow fans since it will be mostly Duke fans here.

Don't forget, no alcohol sold at college games so drink up before hand!

Alcohol is sold en masse at Nippert. It depends on the college.

ACC regulations unfortunately. I learned this after I was given free tickets to the ACC Championship game in Charlotte.

I'm excited for the game, but at the same time a little nervous. The team won't be coached by Butch or Tuberville, just a bunch of assistants... the last time UC was coached by assistants they were DESTROYED by Florida is the Sugar Bowl. Of course, this is a 6-6 Duke team and a blowout is highly unlikely... but I'm not so confident it will be a win either.

Also, check out these new helmets UC will be using in the game (and as an alternate going forward)



UC will be wearing those with white jerseys and black pants.

One of the best helmets I've ever seen (aside from the Bengals, or course).

I think the Bearcats will handle Duke easily. Those helmets are sweet!!

You have to remember, that Orange Bowl was a no win situation for the Bearcats.

Fist, that punk Kelly says he isn't going anywhere. ND calls up and he's gone that night. "Sorry guys, you **** and you are no ND". I hope they get STOMPED in the championship game. No hard feelings though on my part, none at all, lol.

Second, it was Tebows last game in college.

Third, it was Floridas head coaches last game as well.

Fourth, Cincinnati didn't and still don't know how to play a big time Bowl game.

They beat VT in the orange bowl and lost to Florida in the sugar. So it's not that they don't know how to win its what happens when more than half of your coaching staff leaves you before a bowl game and you're seeing it tonight. I think UC will win tonight based on the talent level they're playing against.

You're right they beat them this year. Idk why I thought that, I was there. I was there for the sugar too. Bourbon st on new years eve, doesn't get any better than that.
