This draft has a little risk to it, but high reward. I like the back of my draft and kept it the same.
1 Alec Ogletree ILB 6'3" 237 Georgia - On average, Rey's opponents gain over 4 yards before he makes a tackle (I wish I could remember where I saw that this week). I think Ogletree is capable of playing more than just MLB, and can play where ever he fits best. With it being a pass 1st league, Ogletree would be a nice fit, but he does need to work on lower body strength to take on power runners. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBD3yxwYZ9o 2a Kenny Vaccaro S 6'0½" 218 Texas - smart enough to get us in the correct allignments. A good player that will earn the respect of his team mates. Texas might have a bad D this year, but teams stay away from Vaccaro. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fP2MBZSNKs 2b Giovani Bernard * RB 5'10" 205 North Carolina - strong enough to be a primary ball carrier, fast enough to be a scat back. He can be electric in the return game as well. Fills the greatest need on offense. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTpmzcGPupM 3 Da'rick Rogers * WR 6'3" 215 Tennessee - 1st round talent, 3rd round trouble maker (who has been quiet lately). We need a 2nd player on the team that can fill the possession receiver roll. After Sanu went down we have nothing and it shows. Rogers would make our WR corp (including TEs) 2nd to none. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BHOXRyDLuw 4 Marcus Lattimore RB 6'0½" 220 South Carolina - low risk, high reward pick. Even if he sits out his 1st year to recover, Bernard, BJGE, Lattimore and Peerman would be an all stud stable of speed and power. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1DXi2epKrI 5 Robert Alford CB 5'11" 184 Southeastern Louisiana - the top FCS level shut down CB. He has speed to spare and has been highly productive. We will see what he has at the Senior Bowl. We have an aging secondary that needs some fresh blood (I do think Ghee makes it next year). ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChticaTUbc8 No, thankfully that is not me talking. 6a Michael Williams TE 6'6" 270 Alabama - competent blocking TE. Look at that vert! ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTY4VY846g0 6b Quincy McDuffie WR 5'10" 175 Central Florida - bad *** Tate replacement. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RUzPVfGCXE

I like 1-2 and 5-6 but not a huge fan of 3 and 4, there is alot of talent to be had in round 3 and while he may be talented from everything I have heard the guy was a bad influence on the locker room and a me first type of guy.

As for Lattimore its just to risky, 2 season 2 major injuries, we got Gio and BJGE they are our top 2 guys and I think were fine with them, there has to be better option this early in the draft perhaps even better options at RB. Kenjon Barner, Jonathon Franklin and Dennis Johnson all feel like better picks imo Id be very happy with the rest though, just those 2 rounds bother me. |

Really nice draft. But i would say a DE is needed as well, maybe for the lattimore pick. I like how you picked a receiver before round 4. I would not like to be complacent at that position due to our ineffectiveness in the redzone and drop balls. I still think a number 2 WR is needed on offense. Bernard at rb is excellent. Home run speed plus future starter. Seeing the law firm bust out runs for 20 to 30 yards tells me that if Bernard is in stripes, it would be touchdown. Love the vacarro pick as well. His smarts, ballhawking ability and athleticism is needed. Either him or Rambo. Ogeltree will be a stud. We need more athletic talent and this mock is what the doctor ordered. Great work.

Needs - RB, LB, S Nice to have - DE, WR, CB Luxury pick, QB, OT, OG, DT, another RB or OLB Based on our picks, you can expect 3 impact players, 1 solid starter, 2 developmental guys, and 2 specialists or crap shoots on small school guys / injury risk guys. So, based on which nice to have you feature, somebody will always like another nice to have more than the one you featured. But you have to pick somebody. One single decent guy in FA would be awesome.

Very good mock. I would be happy about this.
Obviously, there is a risk with Rogers, but the Bengals still have young talent that they could get rid of Rogers and not really lose much, if anything at all. And getting Gio AND Lattimore? This back-field could become elite very quickly with those two. Obviously, Lattimore has an injury, but I think Gio has a high ceiling, as does Lattimore. Perfect 1-2 punch.

Why Lattimore in the fourth round?
Will he be healthy or just taking him on boom or bust. |

Based on how he checks out, a 4th might still be too early if he cannot add value in the 1st year.

Outside of Green, Sanu, and maybe Jones we have nothing. Safety can be plugged up by a cornerback if needed.

I think you need to move Bernard up to 2a and take Rambo or Tony Jefferson as your safety at 2b
