Daughter being admitted to the hospital.

As you probably know from my username, my daughter has Cystic Fibrosis. She is being admitted to get IV antibiotics to hopefully help get rid of pneumonia. She was on oral antibiotics and it seemed like they were helping, but when she stopped taking them it came back stronger. This will be the second time in 3-4 months that she will be in the hospital for pneumonia. I will know more hopefully by the end of tonight and or tomorrow morning after rounds. She was scheduled for a bronchoscopy after Christmas but it just got to bad we couldn't wait. Just asking for thoughts and Prayers. If anybody has a prayer chain if you wouldn't mind putting her on it. Her name is Sarhea (pronounced sah-ray-uh) and is 5 years old. She has been through more in her life then 1 person should in a entire lifetime and still is the happiest person I know. We would really appreciate it. Thank you and God Bless!

I'm not religious myself buddy. But I just got off the phone with my mother, who is. And they have a pretty extended group, all over the country. There will be a prayer chain all over the country by midnight.

I am so sorry to hear that Sarhea is having a rough time around the Holidays. She will be in my prayers.

I know the feeling (of hardships, but I won't even pretend like I know what she's going through), and mine started at 15, so I had at least a bit of experience in life.

She sounds like a trooper and a hell of a kid. Tell her to keep her head up because there's always brighter days ahead, and that goes for you, too.

I said a prayer already and I'll say more.

I work with someone who has a prayer group and keeps a list of people in their prayers. I'll pass this along. I hope the best for her, and she will be in this group's prayers.

Thank you! My wife's name is Sarah and its a play on her name. She also said that when she was young she had friend with the name and always liked the name.

Thanks again to everyone for all the thoughts and prayers! Last night was rough and then this morning she was running a fever along with her coughing episodes. She was put on I think 2 liters of oxygen because her O2 stats were in the mid 80's (supposed to be 100). As of right now she is not running a fever and not on oxygen but her o2 stats are mid 90's. She got her pic (iv) placed and is just starting her second round of antibiotics. She still is having coughing episodes and breathing trouble. Thanks again and in the next couple days I will bring my computer in and be able to rep you all. (On my phone)
