So by virtue of that, I've had to live in isolation from any news and the internet until I am able to watch the game I have PVR'd.

He wasn't trying to spell "silent". He's told the story before but you probably haven't seen it. The name is a contraction of silent and net. He had a buddy he used to converse with on the net. Then he wasn't there for a while and SW found out he had passed so the name is in honor of his friend.

I think it's just neek. He seems obsessed with posting an endless parade of Delhomme pics to purportedly tick me off.

He did, at the beginning, but he's since put up so many pics that I've grown numb to them. In a strange way, he's actually cured me of my hatred of Delhomme. I find it funny, now.
