At this point in the season, it does little to improve the team by practicing hard 3 days before a game. Besides, Practice Heros = Game Day Zeros

It sounds to me like the strength and conditioning coaches are failing here. You're right: There are too many injuries the Bengals suffer in practice and this is troubling. It could be as simple as inadequate stretching prior to practice or, alternatively, a failure to keep stretching and moving during practice.

As for Dre Kirkpatrick, what I think is happening is not a series of new injuries but a continuation of an old one which never totally heals. I have to question the medical staff here because it appears as if they are releasing a player to play who is not fit to play. Rehab and strengthening are not overnight processes and I think Dre might be wise to forget about 2012 and get ready for 2013 because this is not a good way to begin a career.

He was axtually very good at special teams. Numerous times he helped pin the ball inside the 10 (and even down the ball at the 1 himself).

Not once did he get burned, because they went underneath on him. And rookie CBs RARELY do well their first year.

Please, when you have actual points to make besides "He's hurt", then come talk to me about his production on the field.

Well, I don't follow the Cowboys, but I think their 1st round pick also struggled with injuries this year. I remember he was injured in the start of the season, and later was sandwiched in a gang tackle and got banged up. He was out for a few weeks too.

He wouldn't be getting any play time anyway, the trio of CBs the Bengals have are up there with the Tops in the league. He'd be a 4th corner at best. Not a bust, by any means.

id gv him another yr or 2 before going that far. we definitely should consider drafting xavier rhodes if he's available 2nd or 3 round. newman clements allen jones all will b 29 and up. ghees's done and prater will b no more than a special teams player or maybe if he's lucky a slot corner but hes barely 5'9 n slow plus been out all yr so i wont b suprised if bengals tk another cb in this upcoming draft

It's dumb because you don't call someone a bust before they even finish their first year in the NFL. There is a multiple year adjustment for the corners into the NFL as it is, so even if he wasn't injured, it would still be too early to call him a bust.

Being hurt for a vast part of this season doesnt make him a bust, but isnt exactly a great sign either. That said his rookie season has been a disappointment for sure, dont know how else to describe it. Just have to hope he will be healthy next season and will start at corner at the level a 1st round corner should.
