Very rare do you guys get that much snow? I think that is the record amount down there and it still stands today?

So true, got pics somewhere of the cars driving across the river, it was amazing I am sure what they felt like spinning around on the Ohio River, caused I was amazed from just looking at pics of it happening as i was stationed in Germany when this happened.

I was 24 and remember it well. I actually saw people selling $2 bottles of water here in Rhode Island a few years later, Claiming it was the melted blizzard of 1978 snow and people were buying!! The Pet rock had nothing on these guys...
