Also need to attack their corners and take advantage of their scrubs. Also need to spread them out with three wides and a tight end to keep them off balance, keep them moving to tire them out, and to exploit the 3-4.

I agree that we can't revert back to that, but sometimes running the ball is what's needed. Take that last offensive possession in the Dallas game: three passes with just over two minutes left when we had been killing them all game with the run? That's on Gruden, though, and we need to have better situational coaching.

Aj green needs to just dominate the game and that's what I expect looking at the Steelers secondary.More importantly though comes phase one of the offense which is the o-line. The pass protection was unforgettable in a bad way last week.

Unrelated side note : Wouldn't you want to throw to Gresham on 1st downs mostly? Why in the world would you wait to throw it to him on 3rd down. If teams anticipated this to happen(as a 1st down target)it would give BJGE an even greater chance to break the line and have open space if he does. Just wondering...

coach-although I think Tomlins sb victory is more cause of Cowhers team...He has kept them relevant...He has beat Lewis more often than not...So


thats about it....we are the better team but if u listen to any expert only reason they pick pitt is cause we havent beat them recently....We are much better team since Week 7 and had them beat them....

If they dont beat themselves they will win on Sunday...That simple, we are the better team...If we lose Sunday its cause we got outcoached and beat ourselves...

I'll give you RB but that's it.

I said AJ is better than anyone they have but their overall corp of receivers is better, you can't really dispute that if you're being honest about it.

And Miller is better than Gresham, he's just more reliable. Athleticism is great but on the field, Miller performs better.

Ike Taylor is hurt but their pass defense is first in the league to our 12th, so um, yea, actually.

So no, like I said, we are not clearly the better team. We've been playing better lately but we still lost to them earlier this year, we are 8-6, they are 7-7. It's total homerism to submit that we're "clearly the better team".

I think we can be the better team on Sunday, but it's not a case of "we can only beat ourselves". That's just not true, these Steelers are still a talented bunch and are certainly capable of beating good teams without that team necessarily beating itself.

That's based on the whole season's work. Pitt has definitely struggled the last two weeks with injuries in the secondary and had two of their rougher defensive days against Rivers and Romo. Our ranking is hurt by the fact that we bled passing yardage early in the season before our own secondary settled down and played better. Right here, right now, given the players who will be healthy and in uniform tomorrow I'd take our pass D over Pitt's for sure.

I can see that maybe, but being as they've managed to be ranked first this year with Troy P missing so much time I think speaks to the fact that overall their secondary is better than ours, with Taylor out, maybe not so much. But to completely dismiss their secondary as as not even in the convo with the Bengals like that other dude seemed to be doing really don't make sense.

Good call. I only want to see them go for strips if they definitely have it. Other than that, finish shamu off when you have the chance and they're pretty much screwed cuz their run game has been average and their DBs are even more banged up than I thought. I didn't realize both of their CBs are hurt. Even in their building, the Bengals should take this game.
