What happens when there is a tie? I'd like to see (and be) a winner...!
(- I present the following idea. We all make multiple picks, let's say for example five. We put the safest pick on position 1, the second safest on position two and so on. After gameday we compare - at first only the first picks are considered, and only if there are still multiple survivors left afterwards our picks no. 2 will be regarded, and so on, until only one player is left. Anyone for that?)

Majority rules. If you pick the margin of victory option, it applies to your game only. For example....if you and one of the others both pick the 9ers over the Cards and one of you picks that they win by 7, and the other by 17.....then they actually win by 10, the person picking closer would win. If you pick the additional teams option, you pick your top 5 teams that you can still pick from that you consider to be locks. It goes until only one person is left. If everyone loses their first pick, then everyone gets to go with their 2nd pick, and so on. OR....there could be multiple champs if you guys want, and it would simply be "Survivors" rather than "The Survivor". Seriously....the three of you should vote on it, then we'll get this last week started. Also....I'm gonna start a playoff bracket game once the seeding is set, and I want everyone that has participated to participate in this one as well. I'm digging these competitive games in the FF subforum, and I want to keep them going.

Well, I obviously like my idea, but if someone is against it, I'm fine with any other solution as well.

Edit: I say if we roll with this option, post your first pick here, and pm Ron the other four. Once he has all our picks, he can post them for everyone to see, and we won't be able to copy off each other!

We're gonna go with hollodero's idea, and also what Robbie added to it.
EVERYONE! Make your pick....just like you have all season, then after that, PM me the next four teams that you want. Make sure you do it in order. If everyone gets the first pick right, then we move to the second. If two people get the second one right, we move to the third....etc....etc. You can only pick teams that you have not yet picked. Have fun guys, and good luck.

That idea is not Survivor.
I play have played Survivor for years on paid sites. If there is a tie, then it is a tie. On that note, I am playing by the rules and on week 17 I pick Seattle. You can't change the rules at the end, the game is no longer Survivor. ![]()

Then we'll call it: "Survivor with a Tiebreaker"

Actually, I think I remember typing out something about keeping it going through the playoffs if you make it there. Not searching for it on a phone though.

To be fair, if a tie has occured after week 17, then we should proceed through the playoffs with everyone reset since most of the teams in the playoffs are teams that we have already respectfully chosen.
If you carefully pick one team each week and you don't blow it in the beginning by picking the top teams you should not be penalized week 17. I picked teams like Buffalo and Carolina to save the big boys for the end. For example like Seattle. It's only after the season is over should we go for a tie breaker, NOT week 17!!! Week 17, is like any other week during the season. And if you were going to do a special out of the blue scenario going from week 16 to week 17. It should be indicated in the beginning, if there is a tie then blah, blah, blah. Just saying.

Just allow me and Robbie the fun of still going with the idea nevertheless. I won't call you loser if you don't, just become a tied winner - and I and Robbie just go to some kind of entertaining bonus round then. It's allright with me.

Picks in this.....very confusing week:
BengalYankee: Seattle Seahawks Robbie Sharp: Seattle Seahawks hollodero: San Francisco 49ers Everyone got these right. BengalYankee decided not to pick extra teams, and go for the automatic win (tie or not) Robbie Sharp and hollodero submitted extra picks in case of a tie to go for an outright win. Here were the picks. From Robbie Sharp: San Francisco 49ers San Diego Chargers Tennessee Titans Washington Redskins From hollodero: San Diego Chargers New Orleans Saints Pittsburgh Steelers New York Giants Giants Robbie Sharp got all five right, and hollodero missed out on his 3rd pick: The New Orleans Saints. So.....I guess the final is....hollodero eliminated, Robbie Sharp and BengalYankee with the wins. Next year I'll have to lay down exact rules for every possible scenario. I didn't really want it to come down to confusion. The tied game between the 49ers and Rams effed it up a bit too. So, tune in next season for a new improved survivor......with every single thinkable scenario covered!
