I'm surprised it wasn't pre-empted by a special report on Tim Tebow's bowel movements.

I'd rather not hear anything about him until he's traded or released (real news).

I watched it and heres some things I saw the 2nd time around
1.Conner whiffed on a block resulting in Dalton's 1st sack. 2. Kyle Cook got his *** handed to him 70% of the game. 3. Dalton had Gresham wide open for a TD and never seen it 4. We miss that RB with a extra gear 5. Dunlap was getting double teamed quite a bit. 6. Whitworth had a solid outing. He held Harrison in check 7. Maualuga just isn't quick enough to stay with TEs on seam or sluggo routes 8. Terrence Newman is the best tackler among CBs 9.Crocker missed a couple tackles 10. we ran no quick pitches or tosses. |

LeTigre,do you remember in the 2nd half I think when Cook engaged McClendon and Cook after about 3 seconds just let him go and he sacked Dalton?
I would have pulled Cook so fast and put Robinson in the rest of the game. I'm in the minority, but I think Tate needs more than 1 touch a game. He took that dinky shuffle pass from Dalton and hit that edge and showed some serious giddyup. the thing is,he was lined so close he to the formation its not like he had time to build up speed. Gruden dialed up that stop and go route and vs the Clowns and he toasted that CB for a TD. Funny thing I haven't seen that play called since. If it will work once,it can work twice. Tate is one of those WRs that should able to be a problem for the other teams 3rd or 4th CB. A defense could really lose sight of him. Our running game is so predictable of late. we run it so much in the 2 and 4 holes. our formations tip off where we are gonna run the ball. we need to go back to doubling at the point of attack, pulling the guard and let him and FB get up in the hole seal left and right. |

Well, the NFL Replay was interesting.
Pass coverage especially on the interior was horrible. Dalton had no pocket to step up in because Cook kept getting blown backwards and the front of the pocket was being crushed. Add in the lack of any real attempts to receive the defense and the cards were stacked against the offense. The defense was flat out superb. It was cool seeing them bait Ben into making ill advised throws and the like, and also how they rushed him in a disciplined manner; thus removing his usual scrambling to extend the play. |

Watch the game again and payed closer attention to the running plays. Their were some huge cutback lanes that a great RB would've exploited for big gains. BJGE is what he is and that's a straight north and south short yardage back. For this offense to take the next step we need an elite RB early in the draft.

I still don't under the 4th and 22 play. I mean like the outcome. Green gets his toes in, but then his back foot goes outside. Technically, both feet would be in bounds since he got it in, correct?
That just confused me. And still does.

Since a teeny weeny little bit of his back foot touched out of bounds simultaneously as the rest of his foot was in bounds , it was ruled incomplete. It was the correct call. If he would of tip toed it and dragged that foot, it would of been complete. |

So, if Green had touched his toe then immediately lifted the foot off the ground he would have been ok. Unfortunately, he landed his toe, twisted the foot then landed the heel and the heel was out of bounds, thus spoiling what would have been an amazing catch. |
