And if they got re incarnated and would follow the same EXACT life path up until the NFL draft, I would STILL draft both of them and take the chance. Thurman was BALLIN. Pollack wouldve been good too. Those guys couldve been those AFCN prototypical longstay linebackers for sure.

I always think back to what could have been with those two players.

I mean, Thurman was a beast. 98 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 4 FF's, and 5 INTs. One returned for a TD. Oh, and nine passes defended. Those are crazy stats, ESPECIALLY for a rookie.

David Pollack wasn't as good his first year, but 4.5 sacks as a rookie linebacker in a 4-3 base? That is impressive.

If Thurman was still smart, and Pollack hadn't have gotten injured, they might have been Pro Bowl players for years.

Congrats to both. Both age 24. The voting sometimes leans to a reputation type pick with some of these pro bowlers. Not these guys. They got picked because they are just good. It's a good omen that we got 2 young players making their mark.

I live in KC. I am stuck watching them every week. And Eric Berry is in the Pro Bowl? Over Reggie Nelson? Seriously?

I may be looking at this as a homer, but I thought Reggie deserved it this year.
