Default Kyle Cook blows mock.

Change from my previous mock

4th round Mario Benavides for Xavier Nixon.

Round 1
Pick 20

CJ Mosley, OLB Alabama Crimson Tide

Ht: 6'2" Wt: 234

Mosley has had an outstanding season with 83 tackles, 5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 2 picks. He is by far the best pass defending linebacker in this years draft excelling in both man and zone coverages. With the way Manny Lawson has been playing we need an upgrade at the position. Im sticking with my guns on this pick. I know alot of people are calling for a DE in the first but I think this is a higher priority.

Round 2 Pick 35

Tony Jefferson, S Oklahoma Sooners

Ht: 5'11" Wt: 212

Jefferson is a tackling machine. He leads his team with 113 tackles which says he does a lot of clean up duty for his defensive front. Has experience playing the nickel corner and lead the Sooners in picks his sophmore year. Good against the run and great in coverage this is just the kind of hybrid safety that Zimmer likes.

Round 2 Pick 52

Mike Gillislee, RB Florida Gators

Ht: 5'11" Wt: 210

BJGE is clearly going to remain the primary back for the Bengals, but I see is going towards a more comittee approach in 2013. Bernard Scott cant stay healthy and I think its time to move on. This years RB class is loaded, and Gillislee's stock has been rising as he has become the focal point of the Gator's offense. Deceptive speed and power combined with impressive blocking, he has the potential to be a future RB for the Bengals.

Round 3 Pick 84

Cornellius "Tank" Carradine, DE Florida State Seminoles

Ht: 6'5" Wt: 265

Once a promising first round talent, Tank suffered a torn ACL in the last half of the season. Notching 11 sacks and 13 TFL is impressive but could be decieving because of Werner seeing alot of double teams, but he consistently has beaten one on one blockers.

Round 4 Pick 116

Mario Benavides, C Louisville

Ht: 6'4" Wt: 300

Trevor Robinson has played well for us and may very well be our starting center moving into next season. I would like to see some better depth behind him because Kyle Cook doesnt answer any questions for us at the position. Benavides has been excellent at pass protection as well as run blocking in his senior year. He has great hands and could use a little more power. Battled through some injuries but started all 12 games.

Round 5 Pick 148

AJ Klein, ILB Iowa State Cyclones

Ht: 6'1" Wt: 244

Im impressed the way Geunther and Co. have been able to shape Burfict into a starter. Maybe they can work some magic on Klein. He's a good prospect, smart player, and has the build of the way linebackers seem to be going, lighter/quicker.

Round 6 & Comps best player available

Unfortunately CJ Mosley is returning to school, won't be draftable.
That might change your mock a little bit (or a lot).

Just saw that. Bummer, although its a smart move. He'll be a top 10 pick next year for sure.

Are we trading up? We pick no higher than 21.

I would love to go safety in the late first or early second I think we might be able to trade our 1st rounder stockpile some picks and get Bacarri Rambo later on. He could be the Bengals version of Ed Reed a guy who always seems to be in the right place at the right time.
