v. ![]() DEC 27, 6:30 PM, ESPN UC GREG BLAIR, ILB ![]() Former JUCO transfer that because the undeniable emotional leader of the team. Prototypical size for a 4-3 MIKE. 123 tackles this year (8.5 for loss). Throw in 2.5 sacks, 2 INTs and 6 PDs. Comes from good bloodlines; brother plays in the NBA. UC homer will say he’d be a steal in the 4th; I’d definitely spend our last pick on him. DUKE SEAN RENFREE ![]() Accurate QB with good size. First QB is school history to throw for over 2500 yards in 3 seasons. There’s a “rule” that is often pointed to when determining a QB prospect. It is called the Rule of 26-27-60. Basically if a QB scores at least 26 on the Wonderlic, Starts a Minimum of 27 games, and completes at least 60% of his passes, their likelihood of success at the next level is increased. Renfree has started 36 games, completed well over 60% of his passes. As for the Wonderlic; dude is getting ready to graduate from Duke. |

Blair received an extra year of eligibility, he is going back to school for another year. Another year in the crumbling Big East will definitely help his draft stock rise from late rounder or undrafted to potential mid round pick.
My two favorite draft eligible players from UC are Travis Kelce the 6-5 260lbs TE who started his career at UC as a wildcat QB. He is better than Adrian Robinson a TE from UC the Giants picked in the 4th round of last years draft. And his brother is a center for the Eagles so its in his blood. Good well rounded TE prospect. 1st team all Big East this year. George Winn 5-11 210lbs HB didn't get much action being stuck behind Pead for the majority of his college days. Hard nosed runner who breaks a lot of tackles. Not the most flashy but he gets the job done. Led the Big East in rushing. Could be one of those late round picks that pays huge dividends. Reminds me of Alfred Morris. |

Dan Giordano, DE. Going to be a late round pick for sure, but it's always good watch players like this. Great motor. Has played well with Dereke Wolfe, but still did pretty decent this year. Isn't the fastest or most athletic guy, but has a high motor and if he bulks up, could turn into a decent player.
Devane Drane, CB, is also an interesting prospect to watch in this game. Another later round pick, but has helped with the scoring defense. He may stay for another year to improve his stock, but he will be interesting to watch going against Conner Vernon, who could also be someone to watch in this game. Vernon, WR, is also a sleeper. Good size, good speed, could be an interesting prospect to look out for during the combine. Wouldn't be surprised if his stock rises after the combine.

My god, Big East football is a joke. I don't even know how that conference still exists. Oh wait... It really doesn't

UC would look a little better if they had coaches coaching them.

Kelce and Wynn could well get drafted. Abernathy will when he is eligible.

Lucky they haven't played anyone yet and they've managed to get by with heir guards jacking up 3s the whole game. |

Can't really say if they're good defensively or not since they've only played against high school JV teams. But offensively, it's like watching a bunch of ******** monkeys fumble around a ball. It's almost comical how bad they are.

Yea, Kelce will be playing on Sundays for a while if he keeps his focus and follows the rules.

Definitely showed a lot of speed on that TD catch. Could move up some draft boards with a great combine.
