Yes, we have made the playoffs. Now let's win in the playoffs. Our goal shouldn't be JUST to make it anymore. It should be to win it.

And with that said, I still like the DNO shirts the Bengals wore the beginning of this year. I honestly think it's the first time I heard Marvin actually talk about winning the Super Bowl first, rather than the division or making the playoffs.

As good as the defense has been playing the second half of the season.

The Bengals a shot to beat anybody, anywhere.

ESPECIALLY if they get their offense hitting on all cylinders.

I mean, look at what the Bengals did with the Giants. The offense didn't put up yards, but they got points.

We've seen flashes on the Bengals offense all season. We've seen the Bengals high-passing offense during the 3 won streak, and the running game during their 5 game winning streak.

But the Giants came is a combination of both passing and rushing playing well. And that's the kind of offense I want to see in the playoffs.

You gotta admit, the pedigree of this team is a little better. Couple years ago we were this happy just MAKING the playoffs. But iv been here since 2008 on the boards, but been fan longer, and this is the 1st year that I can say that not many ppl care that we just made it now. Were not up to NE's level of expecting a superbowl every year, but now were hungry for a PO win......In the past it simply wasnt like that.

With Geno and the boyz on our team we should be confident.

This front 4 is dominant right now and Defense wins Championships.

Get our Offense back and clicking and look out. The Pats Defense is not the Steelers D either.

I like our chances especially if the coaches, do their job and coach.

If this ever happens, I'll be thrilled. Not because the so-called haters will be quiet, but because we might get a break from these threads that complain incessantly about the haters.

When we actually win a playoff game. Im no hater but I am getting tired of these 1 and done BS "Playoff Runs"

As a fan I could care less if we went to the playoffs 10 years straight, If we don't produce a win it all mean NOTHING. I want to see progress not the same **** we've seen in the past 7 years.

Only teams that are at least 3 of 4 are NE, Baltimore, Saints, Packers, Falcons, Colts and yep the BENGALS not bad company if you ask me.

Totally agree with this. Compare the team now to the team in 2009. Marvin and co. have done an outstanding job in bringing in quality players.

That's probably because when all 3 phases click this team is almost unstoppable. Unfortunately for us though, that hasn't happened all that often this year.

The 2009 team was great on defense, decent on offense; just like this team. The main difference though is potential. In 2009, that team was playing to its potential(1 decent receiver, the rest pretty much garbage), especially on offense. This year's team still needs to play to their potential on the offensive side of the ball.

The "three times over the past four years" was a statistic I quoted to Bob Papa and Ross Tucker during my conversation with them on Sirius NFL Radio's The Opening Drive. Bob was caught off guard for a second but remembered that indeed the Bengals had made the playoffs in 2009. Then Ross recalled that was the year the Bengals swept the AFC North and both men went on for a few minutes about how impressive that accomplishment actually was.

I should note that this year we likewise have a spotty offensive line and only one reliable receiver. At least in 09 we had a running game.
