Default Scouting The Independence Bowl

28 DEC, 2:00 PM, ESPN

v.

OHIO
BEAU BLANKENSHIP/ RB

Iowa State transfer that rushed for school record 1500 yards (5.1 YPC) and 11 TDs. Throw in another 177 yards receiving with a TD. Built in the mold of MoJo Drew and Doug Martin (58, 207). Good, not great speed.

ULM
BRENT LEONARD/ WR

Tall, rangy receiver (62, 185). 97 receptions for 1042 yards and 10 TDs. Put up 112 receiving yards against Arkansas. If we are in the market for another slow, sure handed, white receiver then Brent fits the bill.

You're actually scouting all these bowl games? That's a lot of traveling you're doing!

Or are you just watching games on TV?

Just trying to peak some interest and give the boards something to discuss. We've already got enough members that do not bring anything to the boards.
