Sometimes I think the only reason people gripe about him is because they have nothing better to do or simply like to read the word of their own writing, similar to when people complaining just to hear the sound of their own voice. That will just intensify the bone jarring hits that Geno will be putting on Brady.

We're, at this point, playing NE for the Wild Card round of the playoffs. So if this report is accurate, it'll be a cold cold game to get a playoff win.

omg that would be a cold one. Seeing as all our best players are southern itd kinda scare me if it was THAT cold. ANybody can play in cold games, but being out there in below 20 maybe with wind is a different level of toughness. At that point every second can feel like hell and the ball is gonna resemble more a rock than pigskin.
Jeez I dont want that for this team

Regardless, it's gonna be a cold one. I live about 1-1/2 hours north of Baltimore. They are calling for some really cold temps moving in our way next week. Wind chills are gonna be a possible factor as well. I think Foxboro will be a little bit colder and windier than Baltimore. At this point I'd rather see most any other venue than Foxboro in the first round simply because of the temps and wind chill this week.

call me crazy but i would rather play denver. we held them in check untill the end of the game if i am not mistaken. brady is the last QB id want to face in the playoffs. let someone else knock em out.

Not liking any scenario at this point. Brady or Manning? Either one is a b**** to deal with right now. And the Houston defense has our number the last 2 meetings. No matter which way you shake it down, we gotta beat one of these teams to move deep into post season. In a perfect world, we knock off one of these 3 in round one, Indi and Baltimore both win, and we lock horns with them the next 2 rounds en route to the SB....

Isn't it possible there could be three feet of snow in Denver? It gets cold there too, doesn't it?

Being raised near Cleveland then moving to Colorado - I noticed the same amount of snowfall, but a world of difference in how the air felt despite being similar temps. North and East coast, the air went right through you and was bitter. Colorado didn't faze you, like a chilly spring day.

Brady--California kid Spikes--Florida Mayo--Tennesse (right?) BJGE (when with NE)- Mississippi What it does effect is the explosiveness of the offense, reaction time etc, but I remember a NE game in the snow against Chicago and the Patriots blew the Bears out on National TV. I'd like to think we hold an advantage, given our strength is our D...and we practice in the cold alot. I'd say the advantage is with the Defense in a cold weather game, as the pressure is on the Offense to perform in adverse weather; not visa versa.

There was a stat out there about Peyton and cold weather in the playoffs; he is 1-6 with about as many turnovers as touchdowns in the cold weather in the playoffs. Of course, things change when your team performs in cold weather now, and you don't have to contend with opposing crowd noise at home...but still.

Tom Brady LOVES playing in the snow. I don't think he's ever lost when the ground is white.

Don't worry. If this arctic front is any problem for the bengals then Geno will sack it.

We will play better in the cold better than the Patriots.
Defenses travel better than offenses and defenses maintain in weather better than offenses.

We should be fine playing out in the cold. We don't have an indoor facility like everyone else. : (
Thanks Mike Brown, you're the best! |
