Teams don't just give up random picks for future picks.

they have multiple 3rd round picks and are a deep team. getting a 3rd from them would not be all that hard to do.

You are all about getting an extra 3rd from San Fran, what exactly are you giving up to get that?

We can give them a 3rd and a 6th in the following years.

We have an extra second and are a deep team. Should we give up our 2nd for a future 2nd and 6th?

I highly doubt that would work. When teams give up a pick and get no picks for that year in return they usually get a pick earlier than the original one they gave up for the following year.
Nobody is going to rent us a 3rd round pick for just a 6th as compensation. |

They may throw away a player and contract for something but no team will give up a 3rd for nothing

Because Ginn Jr is horrible and Williams who just got hurt and out for the season fumbles alot.

Still don't see that working.
91 - 136 pts 151 - 31 pts 182 - 18.6 pts future 3rd. We would probably have to send a 2nd next year and it would have to be a can't-miss player.

Like you said when we get the comp picks we could end up with maybe 10 total picks this year. Preferably we keep the majority of this team together and our late round picks have a huge battle on their hands to even make the roster. |

11 picks would be a complete waste. Only 5 or 6 would make the team.

That all depends on who is resigned and who isn't.

Like how it is labeled Top 5 Offense and 1 of the first 5 picks is offense...oh and Ivory...that will push us over the edge to a Top 5 offense. Don't think so.
Jefferson won't be here in 4th. Neither line is addressed in first 4 rounds. |

No way K. Greene is a defacto first round pick...at best he should/will go 50-64...not 36.

He performed well in the Bowl game, and he'll likely have a good combine. Him going top 40 is a definite possibility.

You are giving up multiple picks for Robert Alford when Barner can be a return guy?
And Ginn is a better returner than Tate.
