Quickness/ acceleration to the line of scrimmage. He has a lot of good qualities but big backs are very risky. Are you getting Bettis or Dayne?

I agree with the big back statement. I think if you could get him to lose 10lbs you might have a really good RB. He is big, not overweight like Bettis (late in his career) or Dayne. I don't remember either of those two making many spin moves like Bell.

I like this kid he is one that you watch a game and by the end he has 120yards and the DB no longer want to tackle. I know we need a "speed" guy but we missed out on Turbin last year and Bell would be a nice mid round guy.

I've heard hes lost close to 10lbs for this bowl game and if thats true I'm very curious to see how he looks.

I was hoping we would snag Turbin last year. That was a missed opportunity.
Was he 4th rd pick by SEA? And who did we get in the 4th? Iloka?

He just produces to much.

Backs like this don't often pan out and just go waste on practice squads.

People said the same thing about Turbin last year and he is a valuable backup to Lynch. He also did well in some starts this year.

Clay didn't have 800+ yards after contact.

I'm just skidish about these small speed backs, eveyone we have had has gotten hurt. If we do draft one they won't get on the field because they "can't block".

Barner would be great, but we have a super quick slippery guy in Hawk and we are trying to throw to him in the middle of the field instead of using his stengths. Gruden should have a Hawk package.

I feel we need a homerun threat and it is what is missing to make BJGE more valuable. You pound the short tough yards with BJGE and use the speed back when the D gets tired and torch them. I wouldn't be mad with Bell, but he is not the right compliment for BJGE and would be better suite with CJ Spiller, Chris Johnson, or another burner.

I feel the same, this team needs another playmaker. What is said about big backs can also be said about speed guys though, McCluster, Jaquiz Rogers, S.Slaton,

Bell is quite a bit faster than Clay, with more wiggle. He looked good last night, and dropping the 10 lbs helped. I'm warming to the idea of Cincy drafting him.
