Not sure how many snaps he played but he did get a sack in Denver last year. With the rotation on the D line I think we will be fine.

Ryan Clark doesn't have the disease, but he damn sure doesn't play in Denver.

I won't worry about Denver until we get past Houston.

We can beat Denver, its not an un-winnable game. Potentially losing Atkins for that game would really be a problem for us, though. Our line would not be remotely the same without him.
But I think we should worry about Houston first. ![]() |

Stupidity is being a jackazz with every word you type. Stupidity is having no human decency or any social skills of any kind.

Re: Crap!! Bengals will have to play Denver regardless!!
Come on guys lets beat the Texans, then worry about Peyton, and whether Geno has health problems, or not, one game at a time.

Today; PacMan's smack down at 8:59 left in the 4th was crucial... But that ball at 8:47 left from Gradkowski to Tate was something else
... Along with the superb pick6 from Carrrrlloooosssss at 6:08 remaining after Josh's FG, finished it off.

Surprised after that pass to Tate more people aren't calling for Dalton to hit the bench.

Yup thank you! "I knew from my research that it would not be good for me to play in high altitude, so I prayed I wouldn't get drafted by Denver, which is at a high altitude. I ended up in Cincinnati and have played at a very high level without any adverse affects of the sickle cell trait. During the 2011 season we did travel to Denver to play the Broncos and that was the first time I can truly say I felt the effects of the trait. I could not breathe after a 10-play series and had to be given oxygen on the sideline."

Bull Durham is just the latest in a line of really obvious trolls. The dude might not even be a Bengals fan. He's either A.) A new account from a bitter old banned member. or B.) One of the Steelers fans from the smack forum that will openly admit to you that they come here to troll.

Lots of players need oxygen when they play in Denver. 10% of all African Americans have sickle cell trait, which means likely hundreds of NFL players. When have you ever heard of it being an issue? It's not a big deal.

The Tate pass was the one play I missed. How long was it? And Carlos made a great play and nifty footwork to get into the end zone too.

The only game that matters is the Texans.
Shut down their run game on first down with Peko and Sims. Then let loose the Dogs of War, and Geno and company will bury the QB, and the Texans at the same time. We have our #2 in Marvin Jones, that will help the offense enough and we will win. Go after them as hard as we can for 60 minutes, and we advance.

We had a lead against them and could have easily won if we did anything on defense when we played him during the regular season.
There's no reason to think they're invincible.

Frankly if we get past Houston (I like our chances) there's no stopping us
Denver has the best d besides us, but our d has improved since we played them, and we almost won

If we focus hard enough, will the Bengals come through with the win? I mean....what's wrong with looking ahead if it has absolutely zero bearing on how the players will play?

Just a polite reminder that we, as fans, are allowed to look as far ahead as we want.
