I did this myself so I apologize if there are any moinor mistakes, but here are the winning percentages of each AFC playoff team versus teams with winning records.
Bengals....... .600 (3-2) Texans........ .500 (4-4) Colts............ .500 (3-3) Pats............. .500 (3-3) Broncos...... .400 (2-3) Ravens....... .375 (3-5) |

That's pretty interesting. We seem to have garnered the reputation (somewhat fairly I think) in the last couple of seasons of being unable to win the big game up until last weeks win over the Steelers, so it's interesting to see we're the only AFC playoff team with a winning record against winning teams.
Sure, some will pick holes in wins against the Ravens backups, Washington before they got hot and an inconsistent Giants team, but you could probably pick the same type of holes in the wins and losses of each playoff team. |

Yes But those losses to the Broncos and Ravens were when our D was closer to Last in the League than to Best in the league like it is now.

The Broncos game was a close fought one. One of the two games I went to this year, other was the raiders.

Broncos weren't even remotely close to as good as they are now on offense.

Only way Broncos don't go to Super Bowl is if Manning goes down.

You gotta think Peyton starts running out of gas soon especially if we can repeatedly hit him.

I don't think the Broncos can win out in the playoffs. I just have a feeling they lose. Mareno is going to have a fumble that costs them the game. Just my sneaky suspicion.

People talk about Manning making Decker and Thomas look good, but when I watch them those guys are making amazing catches. They were very good WRs before Manning showed up. |

Re: AFC playoff teams....Record against teams with winning records
I dont bye that .....you have to understand ....That they lost to most of the good teams they played.......Any team can beat up on the raides chiefs chargers browns and a beat up ravens team.....1st of all payton is only good because he has all day to throw the ball....What did they do so far that tim tebow didnt do last year.....tebow got them to the 2nd round of the playoffs......2 of the 3 teams in there division are picking in the top 5 of the 2013 draft...........NOT SO FAST WITH THEM BRONCOS......

Redskins were leading the league in scoring when we played them. We just played great Defense in containing RG3.

They have a dominant pass rush(2nd in the NFL) and one of the best QBs in NFL history playing his best football. On top of that, we have to go to mile high without our best defender(Geno has sickle cell trait). If we make it past the Texans, I'm 99% sure we will be beaten by the Broncos. They're just a better team, ESPECIALLY at home. |

It also helped that their secondary was a sieve.

Re: AFC playoff teams....Record against teams with winning records
The Broncos are good no doubt, but we will play them tough and it could go either way. Our team is really hot too, don't forget and our Defense is playing great right now. I don't know if the sickle cell thing messes with Geno as much as Ryan Clark, i sure hope not. That is a really good point cause Geno is our Defense.

He's avoided bad weather so far this year but put him in a game with bad weather and see what happens, apart from his Super Bowl he hasn't played very well in those games
