Default Scouting The Sun Bowl

DEC 31st, 2:00 PM, CBS

v.

GT

ORWIN SMITH/RB

RBs are hard to judge in GT's hookie offense; but this guy is very productive. Rushed for 673 yards at 9 YPC. Also chipped in over 270 yards receiving. Missed the last 2 regular season games with a sprained ankle.

RODERICK SWEETING/CB

Former highly sought after recruit that really never lived up to expectation. Turned down Ohio St. Good combination of speed and height. Like Dre, a little on the thin size; however, this guy would be worth bringing in as a UDFA to see if he can regain the elite level he once had.

USC

ROBERT WOODS/WR

USC's all time leader in receptions in 3 years (read that again). 6'1 WR with legit 4.4 speed. Great hands and can take the top off of any defense. Playing at USC this year showed he was not against playing 2nd fiddle. This guy is what folks want Marvin Jones to be.

TJ McDONALD/FS

This guy is Taylor Mays with fluidity. Intimidating in the run game and solid in pass coverage. Good bloodlines, father, Tim McDonald, was a 6-time All-Pro Safety in the NFL. Although he had a solid college career never quite lived up to expectation (they were real high).

I will be watching Woods. Before his injury, he was arguably the best WR in this class, but he seems to have slowed down a bit because of it. Also, he seems selfless by taking a step back on his team. He has talent, and I definitely like him. Just don't know what draft pick I would use on him

Hit the nail on the head with Sweeting (idiot in the interview though).

How many football programs is Lane Kiffen gonna be allowed to ruin?

Apparently, that number is yet to be determined.
