So-so game to watch yesterday, but it wasn't a bad game by any stretch.
Some guys did better than others, but it was a good team effort yet again. Top 5 on O: 1. 'dre with a +1.8. Another good game from 'dre, though run blocking was poor, was perfect in the pass game. 2. Whitworth with a +1.5. Also perfect, and neutral in the run game... but he played 20 less snaps than 'dre. He really deserves a pro bowl... 3. Andy with a +1.4. A highly efficient, albeit short game by Andy. Lets hope he continues the momentum from the past 2 games into the playoffs (maybe he studied extra hard the past 2 weeks?). 4. AJ with a +1.0. 2 big catches. Not much else to say lol. 5. Marvin Jones with a +0.9. Another solid game. If he can do this for a whole season, he'll have better than 'rome numbers. Top 5 on D: 1. Geno with a +5.3. 3 hurries, and all 3 of his tackled were stops. Beast. 2. Burfict with a +2.3. A good game for the rookie, but he didn't have 18 tackles; had 15 (still a GREAT number). Had 4 MTs. 3. Adam Jones with a +2.3. Great coverage, and both tackles were stops. Has been the best third corner in the game by far, and that's a fact. 4. Leon with a +1.6. Also great coverage. Would be amazing if he could get the PB, but third alternate is down the line too much... 5. Taylor Mays with a +1.4. Wow did he play well. If Crocker is done for the year, Mays is the man. Bottom 5 on O: Cook (for poor pass and run blocking) Brucey (no explanation needed) Conner (terrible run blocking, and should've been credited with a drop; Pressley is a better option, period) Gresh (ugh) Robinson (got manhandled in the pass game; he can't handle the big guys) Bottom 5 on D: Clements (he *****) Crocker (had a poor game in every facet, and missed a tackle) Lawson (negative in everything) Rey (for poor run game, and little poor coverage) Geathers (Missed tackle. Did nothing) All 5 guys though weren't that bad; they were just the worst players. Brown was highly positive, Huber was positive.

Crocker barely played, how can he be rated a "bottom 5". And he will be fine for this week.
And the benefit with Crocker is he is an extension of Zimmer on the field.

If a guy gives up 4 sacks in 5 snaps, and another gives up 4 in 60, who will be worse? Obviously, he wasn't effective, as Mays/Miles stepped in and did VERY well.

Was never a big Taylor Mays fan. But if he can continue to contribute like this through the Playoffs. Could be a difference maker for us.

Re: PFF, the Final
I think Gresham only had that 1 dropped pass thrown at him the entire half.. and Casey Hayward (21 PDef, 6 INT, 1 FF) > Adam Jones, but Jones has definitely been playing well this year regardless.
All that aside though, how often has Cook gotten Bottom 5 since he's returned? Sheesh.

Tyrod Taylor made him look silly a couple times, very happy there aren't any mobile QB's in the AFC if Crocker can't go.

How many times did our players pull up on Taylor as he was headed toward the boundry (dare not touch a QB out of bounds) only to cut it back into the field of play? I think our guys were being extra causitious of penalties yesterday and this cost us some plays, especially early on. |

Rey at the bottom, he definately looked like it yesterday. Burfict definately looked like top 5, he had a nasty disposition all game I loved it. I feel as though he really seperated himself from Rey flying all over the field. Rey needs to figure out if its football or a body guard he wants to be the lack of energy and jogging around really pushed my nerves yesterday.

1. Cook *****. The coaches are being loyal to this guy and it's killing our offense. Our run game didn't kick into high gear until Robinson came in, and it disappeared as soon as Cook started getting PT. Plus we're suddenly giving up tons of sacks.
2. Is it just me, or has Gresh been in our bottom 5 every week? Is he really that bad of a blocker? 3. I've never seen a player fall off faster than Nate Clements. He looks slooooow and tired this year. Shouldn't be on an NFL roster. Why didn't anyone see this? Don't we have anyone that can evaluate talent?

Re: PFF, the Final
Cook is where my concern lies. What is wrong with the dude? Sukked it up this year. Start Robinson and stay with him, even if he had a bad snap yesterday.

But hey, like folks say he's getting better; he was only the 2nd worse defensive player on the team yesterday.
As to the OP: Surprised one of the DEs (Dunlap, MJ, or Giberry) didn't break the top 5 I saw they did the center rotation again and both looked like garbage. PA stole Robinson's MoJo. Burfict keeps showing up. I was just waiting for him to punch Rey yesterday, to try and fire him up. Who rated higher between Peko and Sims? |

Surprised that Lamur didn't make the worst list. His failure to contain was terrible.

MJ was neutral. Sims was barely positive, Peko was barely negative (+0.4 and -0.3 respectively)

Drill them once and knock them out of their cleats they wont do it again. May cost you 15 but thats the way it goes. Had Rey manned up and drilled Taylor i would have been happy even if he got 15. the league is littered with read-option QB;s and drilling them will weed out the bad. Taylor was a RB at that point in time RG has learned it since getting de cleated against ATL. Cam has learned it too, he just has body mass. Russell Wilson will get his Ask Vick once he broke his leg...he finally admitted it this year with his 900 concussions |

Peko takes ap space and that is what he does. We talked about Sims blowing up plays but Peko blew up two yesterday. Its a rotation, he has value, and is a gamer |
