If you're a long time Browns player or fan, you have to be getting pretty god damn ****** off at this point. They get a new QB one year, a new coach the next, then another new QB, then another new coach. How the hell does the owner/GM expect to have any sort of success with the turnover for such key positions being so ridiculously high.

Seriously, someone needs to go to every rookie QB and tell them that if the Browns draft you, just hold out and re-enter the draft. Do it as many times as it takes to stay the **** away from that ****-hole of an organization.

A lot of my family and friends are Browns fans. I'm surrounded by Detroit and Cleveland - at a certain point you start to pity the players. Then you start to pity the fans. Then you just get angry because you have a team like the Browns (and the Bengals for awhile there) making the entire division look absolutely ridiculous.

In a way, you could say I'm grateful the Bengals play the Steelers twice a year. It's a cheap cop out to my idiot friend who is a Patriots fan who thinks they're so amazing because they consistently win the AFC East. Its fun to throw it back in his face that the AFC North champion isn't determined (usually) before the last couple weeks because every team in there just loves to beat the holy-hell out of each other, whilst teams like the Bills and Jets regularly roll over when Tom Brady wags his finger at them.

I'm in a ranting mood today - shouldn't have started drinking so early. Happy New Year!

One of Cleveland's biggest problems is that they can never get a talent base together to fit a coaching system because they turn head coaches over so quickly. On top of it, they can't draft and they will ridiculously overpay for 3rd tier FA's to try and make it look like they are actually doing something.

I would have stuck with Shurmur for another year. How could they have expected much success with a rookie QB like Weeden who had a sorry wr corps with a rookie RB to boot.
