The thing I don't get is just the lack of support. I understand that the last 20 years have been rather rough for most Bengals fans. A little less rough for me because I've only been a fan since the 97-98 season. I understand not getting your expectations up over the team. I just don't get the lack of people getting amped up about their team. I know that the losing atmosphere of the last couple decades has dampened enthusiasm a bit, but this team is something to be really excited about, yet there were two blackouts this year and 3 additional games that needed extensions to sell out.

Oh wellsies......I'm done ranting about it. They'll win on Saturday, and the 21 year curse will be gone. PBS will hopefully fill up next year because of it, and we can start to become a legitimate homefield advantage for the team that we support.

Thats just the problem ron,,,how many of us HAVE gotten amped year after year? When they got carson i was amped,,when chad broke out with TJ and henry i was amped,,when we started winning i was amped,,then carson blew his knee out,,,ok,,well i was REALLY AMPED for 06, then let down,,,was still amped for 07 and let down even more, at that point i wanted marvin gone,,,then 08 hit and it got worse,,,then 09 while we looked ugly most of the time we found a way to grind it out and i began to get amped yet again only to be let down again,,then 2010 i thought for sure with TO and chad that carson would come back to life and we would once again be a force to be dealt with and man was i ever let down,,,and i see many things the same with this new young team,,therefore i cannot get amped anymore until i physically see them prove to me otherwise with some form of consistency. That is where i am at as a fan and that is why you see me post the things i do,,,we may have gotten rid of the divas and got a new young core with some absolutely fabulous players might i add,,,however brown and lewis still run the show and i still see the same crap, so im not getting amped just to be let down and pi##ed off for another offseason yet again, just to get my hopes up cause we drafted so and so,,,or got so and so in FA. I want proof, not "we look good on paper we can win"

I totally SO agree with this. No thank you to that match up. Too much bad juju associated with us and the 49er's and SB's.

I'd like to see it be us (of course!) and the Redskins. That'd be a great game and we've already beat them. Our D would punish RGIII (even though I like him this would happen, again) and our Offense would be productive against the 'Skins D. We'd have no problemo winning the Lombardi and finally bringing it to the 'Nati!

Those, Ron, are hilarious with a capital H! The first picture symbolizes what will happen when Houston has the ball. The tiger in the background is Burfict. You see,....I wasn't a part of that, sir. They were banning people that even said the word "Bengals" by the time I got there. And since the bye week, I've trolled every opposing teams message board. Without bringing 100 other posters with me of course. I'm 7-2....soon to be 8-2.

This is the first time since the Jaguars game that I'm not disguising myself as one of the opposing teams fans though. I want them to know who they will be saying congratulations to.

Also....that board is kinda dead, and if you talk smack, you get banned......so I'm all friendly over there.

One big difference from last year. Last year our second best player on defense was not on the team yet (Burfict). And their defense had Brian Cushing and Mario Williams who we will not have to deal with.

Also, I think we can all agree that that Yates kid just played out of his mind and now they have Schaub who has not been setting the world on fire as of late.

We got reasons to be optomistic. I am looking forward to the redemption run.

We crushed the World Champion Giants to start our 7-1 run, we have taken down Rapelisberger, The Ratbirds, now we need to redeem ourselves against the team which beat us last time we were in the playoffs, a wteam that beat us earlier in the year, the perenial powerhouse and finally the team which has kept us out of a title twice. Defeating the world champion Giants by absolutely crushing them, which by the way kick started our 7-1 tear, didn't make your checklist?

I took the liberty and put the Giants above the Steelers and gave us an X there.

That was the turning point of the season...

This. Having Leon play the slot or tight end in the nickel has helped a lot it seems. RBs coming out the backfield still seem to cause us a lot more trouble than ours ever cause opposing defences though.
