That pleasantly surprises me.

It makes sense based on the "power rankings" mentality, which is usually a mixture of how hot/cold a team has been lately along with overall record.

The Ravens at 6 surprise me. They've struggled to end the year mightily.
I would probably have the Colts above them. |

Yea the Colts do look hotter at the time but I think the Raven's stomped them so badly last time Billick thinks its an easy win for Baltimore.

Some guy on NFL Network had the Bengals at #8. Ravens weren't even in his top 10.

Vikings that low is a joke with AP running all over people and Ponder finally playing good.
I also don't think that Green Bay deserves to be that high.

Green Bay is my pick to be in the Superbowl for the NFC. When you look at the QBs in the playoffs for the NFC, Rodgers is simply on a different level. The last two seasons Rodgers has 84 TDs and 14 INTs ... 70 more TDs than INTs!

True, but Minnesota is fifth in the league in sacks.

This is definitely an interesting mix in the playoffs this year. I think you have just about every type of team in it.
Pure defense: Seahawks & the Bengals Pure offense: New England and GB Intriguing sidebars: RGIII, Luck, and Russell Wilson -- All rookie QB's. Old vet QB's that just seemed to have that "it" factor in Manning and Brady. Good running teams in MIN and WAS. If you've got a favorite 'flavor' as far as putting together a team -- it's probably in the mix this year. |

That surprises me a little, but not all that much. I think that putting them anywhere in between 6 and 10 is justifiable. The Colts and Vikings are certainly below them. The Patriots, Broncos, Packers, 49ers, and Falcons are certainly above them. All the other teams you can make arguments for either way.
