Meh, doing pretty well, I supposse. I'm anxious for Saturday, but I'm reasonably confident due to the way the Texans have stumbled down the stretch. We won a good tune-up playoff game on the road a little over a week ago over some playoff pretenders that wear black and yellow. Of course, that team doesn't have the talent that the Texans do, but it's still a good warm up.

Meh

As a sixth seed, they aren't expected to win. If they win, great. If not, then the "one and done" monkey stays around on their backs for at least another year. I don't get too emotional about it.

That said, the team got rid of a couple monkeys this year. The more monkeys they get rid of, the harder it is for critics to label them "the same old bungles".

Oh no! Someone might call them pretenders or Bungles? Nobody told me that.

I'm hoping they win, and if they don't I will enjoy watching the rest of the playoffs and then turn my attention to the Reds.

Actually, thanks for asking! The preparations for the playoff game party are going really well. On Friday I'm going to pick up the steaks and beer. This week has been a great feeling so far and the anticipation is building up. So to answer your question, doing just fine!

I know it must be killing you on the inside knowing that you have NOTHING to look forward to this post-season. Now before you go to the supermarket to order a sheet cake that reads "Sixburgh" or something referring to the past, just step back and take a deep breath and say "I'll be o.k., its alright, I'm in control." I'm sure this will be helpful to you, and might even prevent you from trying to punch a hole in wall. I wouldn't want you to do this, considering the walls in your mom's basement are probably poured concrete or cinder-block.
