This game had the upset written all over it. Elam and Gillislee are both better than they have shown tonight.

A good prospect with some holes in his game. Potential is there for sure. But he isn't much better than this. He is having what I would say is an average Matt Elam game.

Bridgewater is the best passer in college football, currently. No one is better. Miller won't have the stats to compare to guys like Bridgewater, or Johnny Football.

I think it's good. But I don't like the missed tackles and his tendency to go for big hits.
I just weigh that a little more.

If anyone noticed this is obviously how the Gators have been taught to play.
Every player on the Gators D was going for the big hit,pulling face masks, and going for the head. Bostic should have been ejected in the first quarter and their entire D was playing that way.
Elam is a very coachable prospect and Gillislee will be a steal in the later rounds.
Both of those kids have upside at the next level imo.

It is already known that he is coming out next year. They are telling the QB's that are being recruited.

Braxton needs a lot of work on his mechanics his feet do a lot of the work for him. Bridgewater is far ahead of him as far as quarterback is concerned.

Some of you guys on here are pretty hard on Elam, but after watching that game I didnt see anything wrong with his play.

If a safety misses a tackle it could turn into a huge play.

As a pure passer, and an NFL prospect, Bridgewater is better. But Braxton is scary good as a runner as well, and in an Urban Meyer offense that will be fully taken advantage of. Braxton will have a VERY good shot at the Heisman Trophy next season.

Gillislee averaged 5.3. Nothing flashy from an all-American for sure, but that's his season avg.

Stats really don't mean much when winning the Heisman. Basically you have to be the best player on one of the best teams.They say you need Heisman moments in order to have a shot at winning the award. Miller creates those moments with his feet and sometimes with his arm. I do think Bridgewater is the better passer, but that really has nothing to do with it. If Ohio State can go undefeated again Braxton Miller will have a very good shot at winning.

This is why many don't like the Heisman voting process. Just go back to Toby Gerhart not winning it and you will see that it's not really about statistics or even the better player.

Well he missed a few tackles by not wrapping up and very early threw a shot on a Louisville WR that is 15 and a fine in the NFL.

I will never downgrade a defender because he likes making big hits. Maybe that's just me.

I hear you but I downgrade Mays because he wants to make a big hit instead of a play on the ball or a tackle that won't cost 15 yards.

It is sad when you watch a college game and the difference between what defenders can do.

Still like Elam though, two Gators next to each other wouldn't be bad. If we go S in the draft needs to be a guy who is going to come in now and play on D. We have enough ST/backups.

Okay. That's fine and dandy. Im just tired of the SS giving up huge plays because he went for a hit not a tackle.
