Any updates on his injury?

He's fine. It was noted he just tweaked his hammy a bit in warmups and was benched as a precautionary measure.

I heard his hammy was just tight and didn't want to risk injury. Had it been a game that counted, they'd have probably worked him over and got him in the game. I have a feeling he'll be fine.

tweaked hammy, no point in playing him and risk him injuring it further in a meaningless game

And unless he has more/worse problems you can count on the fact that he will play Saturday. It doesnt get more meaningful. Personally I think Lewis was looking for an excuse to sit him without losing face.

Re: Green Ellis
Hammies are tricky and can linger big time. its not an injury that goes away any time soon.i pulled my right hammie back in early fall deer hunting. i was headed into the woods carrying all my gear, including a self climbing stand on my back and i stepped into a big hole and fell forward pulling my right leg big time. it snapped real loud and i thought i tore it. it hurt like crap and i just laid there for a few minutes.i finally got up and it hurt me big time for a few days. could hardly walk for three days. took it about a month to heal.anyhow, if he pulled it bad enough, he will be very limited. i see peerman playing and leonard some.the law firm will probably start, but peerman is a good backup and if he gets practice time he will be ready to go.

No practice today.....
He warmed up on the sidelines though. I guess that's a good sign.

Me too! He hurt us playing hurt last year, while I think Peerman can carry the rock well enough.

Having BenJarvus Green-Ellis around will be great because he has a lot of playoff experience. I bet he is doing lots of motivating and mentoring this week.
