The only reaction that someone could have from THC is a panic attack or an allergic reaction from the plant, not the THC. Neither are deadly and neither will cause you to eat people. Although if there was no food around I may take a bite out of someone.....

This is a stupid argument. I've admittedly smoked pot before, and it did some funny stuff to me, I just have a low tolerance. But I would love to see just one case where anyone died, or "ate somebody", from smoking pot.

It is NO more intoxicating than alcohol, and has PROVEN medicinal value. It can be legalized, regulated, and treated in a very similar manner as alcohol. And the financial benefits would be tremendous.

Every point I just made is fact. And like it or not, it's about to happen anyway. And the truly funny part of this is that opiates, made from the poppy plant which produces heroin, is widely used as a medication. Marijuana is no where close to as an intoxicant to opium or heroin.

Bottom line, there are NO negatives, make some laws and legalize it. No driving under the influence, or sales to minors, and there you go.

I don't smoke weed, just a personal choice, but sampled copious amounts of the stuff in my younger days. Witenssed some of the dopiest potheads ever, and never once have I come to know of anyone doing anthing that wasn't already part of their personality.

Hell, it's much less intoxicating than alcohol. You can drive very well after smoking quite a bit (As long as you are not absolutely gone)

Opiates are legal for pharmaceutical use. But in the form of heroin it is unsafe and addictive. I simply stated that harder substances are legal, but pot is labeled a Class 1 drug. This means it has no medicinal value, and that is wrong. You can't compare legalizing heroin to pot. It's nowhere as intoxicating.

I don't smoke pot, haven't for a long time. But I used to be a manager at a Bob Evans where everyone on the night crew was high, and they were damn good. We'd get slammed with big crowds, and they just took care of business. Some people function better when they smoke. I'm just not one of them.

But compared to my alcohol escapades, the pot was harmless!

P.S. I would so do that chick in that article.
