Mountain/Prairie oysters are really good. So many people have hang ups about them, but testicles are a tasty meat. |

Are we talking food?
If we are, nothing is strange to eat if it's what you want. Although, I will never, ever eat Mountain Oysters, EVER! |

They're deep fried, right? I'll try just about anything deep fried. Please, no smart remarks from anyone, I'm trying to stay calm, I'm almost 24 hours smoke free.

Kangaroo = stringy and kind of yucky in general in a peanut sauce
Osterich = tastes like fillet (it is a red meat) excellent Duck = fatty, but if cooked correctly can be very good, also a red meat Allegator = strange texture, grissly maybe, but OK Elk = not too gamey, pretty decent, steak Moose = see Elk, it was BBQ'd Bison = be careful not to get it too done (true with almost all game meat) decent steak Snake = was in chili, could not tell you what it really tastes like

Ostrich I've only ever had done on a spit. It's great done that way. What's funny that you mention about not getting game meats too well done is that so many people think you need to cook it to well done. They are too frightened of parasites and what not. Snake doesn't have much of a flavor from my experience. I tend to do it up over a fire with some worcestershire sauce and garlic powder. |

I have a guy when it comes to game and exotic meats. Every couple of months some friends and I go camping and I pick up a chunk of something we haven't had, or something we may have only tried one or two ways. It's the only meat we take, the rest we have to hunt/trap/fish for. |

Where I used to live after hunting season there would be a buffet of donated game that was taken during the hunting seasons.
Wild Turkey OK Bear Greasy Rabbit Chicken Duck Greasy Pheasant Chicken Venison My favorite, I always get some roasts and steaks, and a lot of it ground up. Ground up venison in Chili is the ultimate. There are probably those that disagree with what I wrote, but remember it is all in how it is cooked. Question If everything tastes like chicken what to bears and the like think humans taste like? |
