Don't get me wrong. I think Chip Kelly can succeed in the NFL with his offense, but not really in the AFC North & not with the personnel in place in Cleveland. It will be a 4 year process for the Browns. Again....

I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up there. That's his neck of the woods.

Chip Kelly in Arizona would have made a lot more sense.
He will fail miserably in the AFCN. But, I can laugh at my son for choosing Browns over Bengals for a few more years to come.

He likely thinks that he can do just enough to catch a major market team's attention, while in Cleveland. Or, he will be another Steve Spurrier, as far as CFB coaches in the NFL. I am a little curious as to what his draft will look like this year.

Good point. I am curious as well. The defense is pretty well set, but wich playmakers will he bring? That will be interesting.

OL should be a big priority for them since outside of Mack and Thomas they're not good. If Geno Smith isn't available I could see them trading down to stockpile more picks. |

Sometimes I think the only reason people gripe about him is because they have nothing better to do or simply like to read the word of their own writing, similar to when people complaining just to hear the sound of their own voice. That's what I'm thinking. Washington is the only playoff team that executes the spread/option offense really well. They try in Carolina, but still not near as good, so CK will likely take a few pages from their "book"; wherever he goes.
On top of that, Washington was pretty competitive against the AFCN averaging 28ppg. |

Taking a dump is the closest Chip Kelly will come to taking the Browns to the Super Bowl.

They might need an RGIII to get on that page, and so far I have seen that as a possibility.

With what I'm now seeing, Philly is also considering Chip Kelly as their leading candidate for HC.
So, given the choice of the two, which one would you pick?

Well, I guess we'll find out how versatile a coach he is or if the Browns are patient enough to let him work his magic.

Kelly back to Oregon. I was just kidding about 1 800 rent a coach , Who would want to coach up there in that MESS. Maybe they will move to LA ????
