Who would you like to see as our OC next year if Gruden is gone? Its hard to see teams beating down the door to offer him a HC position after the Brat like game plan he had today. Crazy how 1 game can change everything. Anyway, who do you want?

Hue Jackson's schemes would fit then personnel. Would love to see someone game plan like the 49ers run their O. BGE is a guy who needs 25-30 carries a game, run first so PA can be successful. Anyone else notice when we run PA out of the shotgun it fools no one???

Norv Turner before he's snatched up, but it will never happen with our ownership.

Mike Martz: Andy Dalton is the perfect quarterback to re-create The Greatest Show on Turf. You think Mike Martz wouldn't love working with AJ Green and Andrew Hawkins?

If you'd like to get Dalton killed this would be a great option. He tried killing Matt Stafford and Jay Cutler, he would be a disaster.

Running is good. Running on 3 and 11 is not. That was the problem with Brat.

Hue Jackson turned the Raiders from one of the worst run offenses to the #1 run offense with the exact same personnel. What makes you think he would run less?

because Bratkowski ran a pass happy offense when he was here and Jackson went out of his way to get Palmer with his knowledge of that offense, I mean if an offense is pass happy then generally you're not running the ball?

As the Raiders OC and HC they were 4th and 7th in rushing attempts. He's not as pass happy as you might assume.

probably not but I link him to Bratkowski and I want nothing to do with anything linked to Bratkowski again

I can agree with that the Bratkowski years were hard to watch. It was awesome playing against him this year though.

Why would you want the QB killer as the OC?

I understand what you are saying but I was pointing out that Brats problem was that he ran all the time - even when he was 3 and 11. The problem with Brat was not the run - I am a firm believer in the run game - but that he ran all the time!

Norv Turner wants to hire his own assistant coaches. How would this work out?
Hue is the only other option but you have to have some stability when your building up or your just another Dallas, Oakland, Cleveland or Washington. Get Gruden more talent to use.

He would make a perfect HC too if we ever fire Marvin because he has coached both sides of the ball.

I think he only ran the ball when it made no sense what so ever. It was like he was attempting to be clever and only succeeded in looking silly.

Marvin is NEVER, EVER going to be happy with a throw it around OC! This was his problem with Bratkowski who came from the Coryell offense scheme, and so is Norv Turner. Martz's scheme is similar , and the Saint offense is not far away. This would happen over Marvin's dead body....
The O-line would have to completely re-tooled-Whitworth goes back to RT, a more athletic LT would need to be drafted, Guards might be fine but the gaping hole at center must be addressed what ever offense we run. This would be with any heavy pass offense. Frankly, the loss of Sanu hurt us a great deal. Marvin Jones is just now finding himself and is going to be good, but Sanu was much more polished and NFL ready. This hurt us. Gresham needs to catch the damn ball! Dalton ignored his 2 biggest play makers -All pro AJ Green and the dangerous Andrew Hawkins. Hawkins was open at least twice in the second half and Andy ignored him. Frankly-Hue would chew his face off and I am fine with that! Mike Brown is a Hue Jackson guy and his trust frankly is well placed. I am a Hue Jackson guy-there is no ******** with Hue! Ian

You kidding me? I could have defended against the Bengal offense today. What the hell happened to the running game? Why are you in shotgun on 2nd and 9? The Texans ran the ball down our throat. We should have done the same. If you look at the play calling in the 4th quarter, that started to resemble a solid run game, with some proper play action calling. This loss is pinning SOLELY on the play calling.

Re: OC Options
Ken Whisenhunt... he had some success with a different QB who was a quick release kind of guy, much like Dalton ideally is. I would love to see him bring on over the offense that made Kurt Warner look pretty good '07-'09, including a trip to the Super Bowl in '08...
