Nugent was on the franchise tag this year, he's a free agent now

there should be no competition between him and Brown, Brown truly earned his place for next year if the Bengals can re-sign him and if they talk to anyone first, it should be Brown

Hats off to these guys. They obviously care about the fan base and it's not their fault that they play for an organization that has yet to join the rest of modern football in their desire to satisfy their customers. All of the true fans will have your full support next season and beyond.

This team should re-sign Brown. He is a great Kicker and flat outperformed anything Nugent did during his time here. I am a big Buckeye fan and like Nugent but the better player should be on this team. Sign Brown to a 3 year contract because he deserves it. He has always been a good kicker and the best player we could hope to have at the position going into next season. Should be an easy decision for the Bengals on that one.
