Minnesota is getting pounded much worse than we were.

We were at least in the game the entire time.

I know no one wants to hear that old "At least we were competitive" argument.

But at least we did better than the other 6 seed.

Yeah...but they have a QB who has taken what...3 snaps all year?

And still up more yards against the opposing team than our normal starting QB.

But they're doing it with a QB who played 3 downs all season and threw zero passes before tonight's game. Apples & oranges.

You're right, no one wants to hear it. I care about one and only one team, the Cincinnati Bengals. And we have now gone 22 years without winning a single playoff game. We blew a golden opportunity due to an incompetent offensive performance. And, as usual, nothing will change.

Sorry, but another team's poor play doesn't make me feel any better about our continued mediocrity.

And they're doing it with one of the best backs in history.....

If you had told me before the season;

1) Our FA guard, Travelle Wharton, wouldn't play in a single game.

2) Our 1st round corner would be injured all year.

3) Our top FA corner, Jason Allen, wouldn't play a single game.

4) Our speed, change of pace back, Bernard Scott would miss most of the season.

5) Our second round possession receiver would finally start to produce, and then immediately go to IR.


.... but we'd still make the playoffs. I'd have said you were nuts.

Our offensive impotence is now public knowledge. Time to draft accordingly.

In no way shape or form does this make me feel better. The boys looked like **** tonight. Majorly disappointed.

They have their backup qb in.

What made me feel a little better was switching over to TruTV and watching "Worlds Dumbest". I saw this dude, fighting a Marlin, trying to get the fish to the boat. The Marlin is jumping out of the water and it's really huge. The Marlin jumps out of the water heading away from the boat and the dude with the pole goes flying into the air, out the boat and into the water. It was flippin' hilarious, lol.

We would have won. Based on the fact they are both backup QB's.Why not go with #2 backup.
